One of my only major gripes w BND is I think the ending would've been more impactful if Peter went to make sum new friends after w rekindling w Ned. I didn't like the idea of the main solution for the the perpetually lonely 22 year old being to go back to ppl he knew in HS.

I just don't think it would work on Superior Spider-Man, because the movie still wants us to sympathize with 2099 after all his been through. Putting Otto in Miguel's role wouldn't be as emotional, because he is an egomaniac.

Isn't the whole thing about Miguel is that he went to an alternate dimension to become a father to a daughter that lost her father whom is the alternate version of himself? Then, causing that dimension to be wiped out that it made him who is now?
