We were delighted to sponsor Prospera, a pupil in Uganda, so that she could complete her final term of secondary school. School fees for a term are around Β£50, and it's frustrating that access to education can depend on such a relatively small amount of money.
We wish Prospera all the very best for the future! π¬π§π€πΊπ¬
Our team has donated 20 solar-powered security lights to villages across Southern Kaduna, Nigeria. π³π¬
Bandits often strike under the cover of darkness, so these lights will help communities stay alert, improve security, and deter attacks at night.
Because of your support, more villagers now have a better chance to live safely and in peace.
This is just the beginning. We will continue exploring longer-term, non-lethal solutions to help communities better protect themselves against bandit attacks.
Truck number 15 - laden with 52 pallets of vital medical aid - has now arrived with our partners in Kyiv!
A huge thank you to @SurreyStands, @HertsFullStop, Cllr @ZukowskyjP, @StA4Refugees and everyone else who helped make this possible! π¬π§π€πΊπ¦
