@mrdanwalker We’ve currently got a skip, it’s on our drive, a way back from the pavement but it doesn’t stop people coming onto our property having a good old sort through/helping themselves…I’d prefer it if they asked tbh!
@AshleyGWinter@US_FDA We should also not forget that HRT patches/gels carry less risk & can be an option for some women where oral oestrogen is contraindicated. Perhaps this also needs to be reflected in the patient info leaflet?

@AshleyGWinter@US_FDA I had a DVT when I was 19 due to the COCP & was constantly told I would not be able to have oestrogen in any form. I became a nurse practitioner & developed a fondness for women’s health…1/
@AshleyGWinter@US_FDA Surely if the patient info leaflet can’t be withdrawn completely all it needs is an addendum stating in big, bold letters that this does not apply to vaginal applications?…4/
@AshleyGWinter@US_FDA I am now 62 & was VERY fortunate to have sailed through the menopause relatively unscathed. However, I was plagued with recurrent UTI’s & vaginal dryness. Cystoscopies were all clear. Vaginal oestrogen has been a blessing for me. The patient info sheet remains generalised…3/
@AshleyGWinter@US_FDA I have watched with interest the increasing knowledge grow since the Million Women Study as a result of the fear it caused. As we know oral oestrogen is not suitable for all but topical applications can be life changing…2/
