Attended a joint review meeting chaired by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri @SandhuTaranjitS Ji on building safety, student accommodation and PG regulations across Delhi.

The meeting focused on strict safety checks, clear responsibility and better coordination among agencies. A committee under the chairmanship of Urban Development Minister Shri @AshishSood_bjp will review PG rules, explore more student accommodation through universities, MCD and DDA, and examine the use of vacant DDA housing for students.

Structural audits of existing PG buildings will also be carried out to ensure the safety and security of students.

Chief Secretary, DG NDRF, @CPDelhi and senior officials were also present.
