Jannik had to change 2 sparring partners today because they couldn’t hold his rhythm 😅🦊
“Jannik Sinner trained with two different sparring partners today, the first english player was changed. Then a second sparring partner got selected but it wasn’t enough for Jannik still, in the end Vagnozzi had to play as well.
Sinner wanted to make the training as much similar as possible to the match. At some point, Darren Cahill had to give some advices to Jannik’s sparring partner.”
Jannik Sinner is glad he had a tough 1st round & says he prepared well before the tournament, ‘We practiced a lot before the tournament here, it was very warm. I never had an issue. We made a couple changes. I think the doubts are gone, at least in my mind’
Roddick: “So much of the conversation since Roland Garros is about the physical toll tennis can take on the body. I think it’s good for you to get through a gutsy match like this. Down 2 set to 1. Having to fight for it. That slip looked bad. The foot looked very dramatic. Do you think this puts you in better standing moving forward now that you feel like you had to earn a gutsy win?”
Jannik: “Yeah… I felt this way. Especially after the match. I was happy I went over 3 hours. It was good for me. When I slipped I felt a little pain but it went away very very quickly. I’m very happy how we handled a couple situations also during the match. Today was not crazy warm but this is exactly the temperature I like to play. We practiced a lot before the tournament here, it was very warm. I never had an issue. We made a couple changes. I think the doubts are gone, at least in my mind. And then we see how it goes.”

Jannik Sinner did THIS during his first round match at Wimbledon against Kecmanovic.
Brutal hitting.
Ridiculous movement.
SENSATIONAL touch to finish. 🤯
Yep, the world No. 1 is back in town.
🤌🤌🤌🤌
What a pleasure to be back on this court 🌱 Thank you all for coming. It wasn’t easy today, but I’m really happy to be through to the next round 💜💚 @Wimbledon
