De som angivelig sender trusler til Gaute Skjervø burde slutte med det.

Men Skjervø har også over lang tid drevet en hysterisk og paranoid klappjakt på meningsmotstandere, som han konsekvent kaller "ytre høyre", og bidratt rikelig til å heve temperaturen i offentlig debatt.

Utvalget av Skjervøs poster her dreier seg om bovaer, som altså viste seg å være giftig og ble avviklet. Kritikk mot klimamelk valgte AUF-lederen å kalle "ytre høyre", og dermed gi ekstremismestempel til folk med berettiget uro for helsekonsekvensene av å bruke dårlig utprøvde kjemikalier i landbruket.

Det viser i beste fall dårlig selvinnsikt at Skjervø tror han er morsom når han påpeker at fortidens ytre høyre sto for blod og jord, mens nåtidens har angst for melk. Han viser ufrivillig hvor uansvarlig lettvint han deler ut merkelapper for ekstremisme, og avslører samtidig at fienden han så manisk bekjemper er skapt i hans eget hode.

Men maktposisjonen til Skjervø gjør det veldig lite morsomt at alt og alle han ikke liker blir kalt vår tids eufemisme for ondskap. Det er en horde påvirkelige unge som tar han på alvor og faktisk tror at folk som liker ren mat, eller er innvandringskritiske, er livsfarlige nazister. Med all potensiell rettferdiggjøring av vold som ligger innbakt i dét.

Skjervøs X-feed var ca 90 % panikk om Trump, som han selvfølgelig kaller diktator og fascist og demokratitrussel. Altså USAs demokratisk valgte president. Serien med attentater mot Trump, og drapet på Charlie Kirk, viser med all tydelighet voldspotensialet som bor i venstresiden. Og det er langt fra umulig at noe lignende kan blusse opp i Norge, særlig når lederne i venstresidens største parti konsekvent hisser opp folk til rasende hysteri.

AUF-lederen burde roe ned sin blinde, selvrettferdige harme og se hvordan han bidrar til nettopp den eskaleringen han påstår å ville bekjempe. Hvis han ikke hele tiden pisker opp stemning og demoniserer motstandere, så vil han kanskje få mindre av det samme rettet mot seg selv.

Men det er det lite trolig han vil. Fordi det er nettopp panisk aggresjon han ønsker å oppvigle, for vinne makt gjennom angst og paranoia.
