The big shift: resolution frames creators as small businesses, not hobbyists.
That unlocks access to:
Small business resources
Financing options
Actual due process
Things creators never had before.
1/Congress just introduced a Creator Bill of Rights.
If you're a creator or work with them — this matters.
Here's what it proposes and why it could change the game 🧵
Why this matters:
Today creators build entire businesses on platforms they don't control.
One algorithm shift — income drops 50% overnight. One false report campaign — account gone, years of work vanished.
while still most marketers spend time trying build lists that are designed for the failure, we build systems that optimize over time.
The creators who will work with you are found through volume and optimization, not spreadsheets and gut feeling.
Most creators don't exist for you.
We sent 2M+ emails to creators. Reply rate: 7-13%.
That means 87-93 out of 100 creators you reach out to will never respond. It means that they do not exist, at least for you.
Stop manually building lists. Build a system.
At scale, most creators you want will ghost you. That's the reality nobody in influencer marketing wants to admit.
The game isn't finding creators. It's building a system that generates responses at scale.
- Media and entertainment spent only $400M - the smallest vertical by far
- 70% of creators never had a brand deal! (despite all the noise)
The gap between retail ($12.3B) and entertainment ($400M) is insane. Entertainment is massively behind. Just 1.1% of the total spend.
IAB just dropped their 2025 Creator Economy report. Few things that stood out:
- $37B ad spend this year, up 26% YoY (for context: overall media grew 5.7%)
- Was $13.9B in 2021, projected $43.9B in 2026
- Retail dominates with $12.3B, CPG and finance follow
@andruyeung https://t.co/BZ1hXZzlhQ - fully custom agent for influencer marketing on steroids. made 15 paying customers and 30 more on trial in 2 months w/o investments at all, and also w/o any marketing, just grinding hard in stealth. Def could find a use for 50k.
Open source models are crazy.
Alibaba just dropped Wan 2.2 Animate, a new model that can animate any character based on a simple souce image.
It handles facial expressions and body movements like no other model.
10 insane examples: (sound on)
So here's what I learned: it's impossible to understand what model you're using right now. And even the model itself doesn't know it because it's hidden from it. And that @OpenAI changes models in the background so when you use what you use, in fact it can be something else.
I tried to ask chatGPT about what GPT version it uses right now during @OpenAI livestream and it was nothing short of a fun with some unexpected cliffhangers
I said that in fact the current model (whatever it is) doesn't have any clue what model it is and model said the unexpected: @OpenAI doesn't share that with the model and also @OpenAI sometimes changes the models in the background to fix load on high demand!!!
