Every interaction you have is a transactional exchange of energy. Nothing is free, ever. Nobody becomes more resentful than the person who believes you have taken something from them – physically, mentally, emotionally, or temporally.
To lend money you must pleasantly rid yourself of it in your mind. They are doing YOU a favour by gifting you more material lightness. You don't want it back.
If you cannot truly accept this, and most cannot, then it is best to avoid lending people money if you want to maintain your relationships.
It’s tight ppl gettin to see how crazy this Romanian festival is, last year we did it with Cash.
Basically it’s a 24hr festival w/ different artists each hr & it’s on the beach of the Black Sea, a full amusement park w/ rides, fans camp out on the beach. So 5am makes sense lol.
One of the mandem asked me not to eat KFC in his car cos his mrs would smell it & think he went to go eat without her & cause problems
I was shocked when he was being serious loooll
When your mind wants to reinforce a particular narrative or emotionally manipulate itself, it will overemphasise some aspects whilst avoiding others. You are deceiving yourself towards a goal and calling it truth. Truth demands that you account for everything, not merely what is convenient or self-serving.
If you're *actually* good at this, you won't miss. Ever. You'll go through life wondering if ppl are blind or deliberately ignoring what is so blatantly obvious to you.
Never been wrong about this or anyone I've met in my entire life. Takes seconds in person. Every friend I've ever made irl was decided in less than 60 seconds of meeting.
If someone fails to appreciate you, is there truly nothing there to appreciate, or does their failure reveal a limitation in their capacity to perceive you? What lies beyond the limits of their perception does not cease to exist, nor does their inability to recognise it make you any less worthy of admiration.
Remember that.
McGregor injured himself in a way that symbolically represents how Great men struggle after their pinnacle.
Injured going straight into movement similar to his 'prime' to psychologically prove to himself he was still that guy –– likely why he did it within seconds to set the tone.
A mistake many greats fall into.
There is no prime to return to. That man has died.
Comeback is not real, bc you must completely evolve and cast away your old skin.
Consequences of not doing this are severe. Happens with so many Greats trying to restore their former selves instead of fully becoming something new.
Michael Jordan went on to 3 peat a second time:
- bc he completely changed the style of his game after his career break. Didn't try to replicate young mike. Left him.
George Foreman came back to win the heavy weight championship at age 45:
- A completely different fighter & man to his young self. That is exactly why he won.
You can never 'go back' – you must be the one that kills any notion of that idea in your mind, before it bests you.
Wisdom + experience -> Higher integration
No former prime. It is dead.
You must evolve.
No doubt in my mind that McGregor can do this.
Rooting for him.
