Those who have watched the series. Please drop any suggestions here for the final combined cut which would be put up for a youtube upload and we'll see what we can do. No guarantees though!
If @haryannvi@VaadClips is okay with it, after a copyrights check could help out on this front(they cover frontier issues). Would be a huge service to the cause. I have cited the sources for every text and image/video in the 3 part series on reservations.
@haryannvi@VaadClips@hhmaharajasawai I guess their channel would be a great medium for this issue since it's fairly neutral and he gets the core issues with the country. Especially on the military and economy front. Also the audience is also the right one.
Been working on this for a couple of years now, and now it's finally complete. The only platform in India that offers Quantitative Portfolio Optimization and also combines it with the interpretability and explainability of an LLM.
Introducing @FolioLabAI
This is a 3-part video series (by @varibraxmun) which explains how caste reservations in India started and kept growing.
Part 1 (till 1975) shows early debates in the Constitution: Leaders wanted equal opportunity, not permanent caste lists. The Army even refused quotas in 1972 citing national security.
Part 2 covers the big jump after 1975: Mandal Commission, 50% limit, creamy layer, quotas in promotions and private schools, plus protests by groups like Gujjars and Jats wanting their own reservations.
Part 3 brings it to today: Courts striking down very high quotas, lower exam cut-offs, student stress studies, and politicians promising even more
Its a full history of reservation, in a nutshell.
Videos show what began as a small exception, has now become the type of politics that early leaders had warned against.
Do watch and share across your groups ๐
Do they really think Indian Polity will find it's final political equilibrium on the caste axis once all pillars of the basic structure are destroyed? Really?
Ask your foremost thinker's opinion.
The Path that began with NM Thomas only ends one way albiet a short Pyrrhic Victory.
Amusing how the very same class of people who have done everything in their power to defile & disgrace the constitution since '70s,raise hulla about a data collection exercise as an assault on it's values when only 2 yrs ago they voted for a *Redistributive*Wealth & Caste Census.
Excl: MHA led Demography panel wants to know religion-wise data on vehicle, property purchase, school enrolment, Aadhar, voters etc classified into Hindu/Muslim/Christian etc heads. States stumped as secular construct of Constitution bars them for collating data under religious categories. I โ๏ธ

How? A caste census is also an intelligence assessment. All government data is an intelligence assessment. Just that some are public & some aren't.
You can't have your cake and eat it too.
For those comparing it to Sachar Commission or โcaste censusโ: Panel has also sought โintelligence assessments on religious conversions amongst Scheduled Tribes.,โฆ..religion wise details on property transactions and ~Unusual Land Acquisition~.โฆโ
This is pure evil & malicious
@AsimAli6 For some reason people of this ilk attribute the failures of a particular political-economic order to its most weakest segments rather than to the strongest (i.e. those who clearly benefit from it)
Is it because the Muslim elite fear that in an increasingly free-market economy their bargaining power with their lower classes reduces?
Pakistan & Bangladesh, one run by Upper Caste Muslims & another by Lower Caste Muslims both have failed miserably.
Which variable is to blame?
Except they haven't been & they shouldn't. You'd stfu then which you haven't.
"Egalatarian order by force" I wonder how Bengal is faring in 2026. Again a fault of UCs there as well?
The egalatarian order has been in force since 1951 & it has only created more poverty and strife.
All of these UC uncle wet dream measures have been implemented in abundance (say in UP/Assam) over last decade, with little material effect on development. The thing he omits is 'implementing an egalitarian order by force' on feudal/rentier elites, giving equal opportunity to all
It's amusing to see how tight the Islamic communists hold on to their beliefs the more their economic philosophy works against them. It's as if this class thrives best in those conditions.
In India immigrants like Jews and Parsis not dominated or expelled.
Whereas the IM's history on Jews is well recorded in history on how they draw parallels b/w Jews, Jains & Baniyas.
Periyar and Ambedkar's Hitlerian rhetoric against Brahmins, Baniyas & Tribals is well documented.
I wonder which section of Indian Society are the carriers of Anti-Semitic Racism when they allege that 26/11 was a Jewish Conspiracy and not the work of Pakistan's Inter Service Intelligence and Islamic Terror Groups? Infact they allege all terror attacks since 1980s are JC.
In Europe, key societal carriers of anti-semitic racism were those opposed to the lineage of French revolution. In India, carriers of Hindutva have been the opponents of process of democratization. From segregated Brahmin neighborhoods of 1930s Maharashtra to gated enclaves today
