Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.

I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.

Modi has been running governments since 2001. If his party or organisation ever felt he had become a liability, he would have been told to step aside. He would have had little choice. Even he is not more powerful than the people who sit in Nagpur.
The textbook definition of a narcissist is a person who is extremely self-centred, has an inflated sense of importance, needs constant praise, and cares little about others or their opinions.
So what would you call a politician who does not accept repeated rejection by voters and keeps forcing himself on the country because his fawning courtiers make him believe the top job belongs only to him.
