@maddow As a Dem I am troubled by the ousting of Joe Biden from the 2024 race. We had a Primary and the electorate chose Biden to run. At the last moment elite party Dem's decide they don't like that result. How is this democratic or Constitutional? We're fighting for democracy?

@PreetBharara The electorate nominated Biden to run. What is the democratic/Constitutional basis to force him out? I fail to see how this is better than what Trump would do with all due respect.

@stengel Unfortunately Harris cannot accomplish this. I wish it weren't so but it's likely reality. I never thought the Dem tendency to throw away victories would come to this. As a life long Dem supporter I am beyond upset and disgusted at my party.

Forcing Joe Biden out of 2024 election is the BIGGEST blunder I have ever seen in Politics. There is near zero chance Harris can beat Trump. I wish it weren't so but I hope we can survive more Trump. Disgusted & fearful. LLD

@JoeBiden This is the most MONUMENTAL tactical error I have ever seen in politics. I hope everyone can survive 4 more yrs of Trump. As much as I'd like to believe otherwise, there is near zero chance that Harris can defeat Trump. D's have quite a history of avoiding victories. This is BAD!

@JoyceWhiteVance IF SCOTUS rules Trump must be on State ballots...couldn't those States opt to not certify a Trump win and have their electors to choose someone else? What would the legal ramifications be?
