@__haywood__ i didn't understand why the interview felt more pressuring me than the race or the other interview i had before; is it because my first win or it's because of him?
i scrubbed my nape, though nothing itchy there, "well yeah--" i stammered. "just remember who you are!"
@__haywood__ the awkwardness hit his stomach harder than his teammates hit the wall during the race. he chuckled along with his former teammate.
"thanks-- ugh, can you believe that?" he grinned.
Couple years ago, way before I jumped into my bitter decision, never thought that Iβll end up watching my teammate finished on P1 after so long.
I chuckled. Tummy feels ticklish.
βCongrats, mate!β

i miss my hometown,
not that i miss the neighbourhood, nor the food mum made fresh from scratch. not the warm sunshine peeking through my window every sunday morning. not the chirping birds before i went to school.
