As many of you know, I have temporarily moved to #Australia to study master's in management & marketing at @MelbBSchool .
I come with 11 years of experience in business journalism + some marketing exp. Looking for paid gigs. Ping if we can work together.
Hello Deepinder, all the hypotheses discussed on your website have already been proven wrong through rational scientific approaches (see Table below).
The "Gravitational Theory of Aging" is a reductionist, mono-causal hypothesis that is fundamentally irreconcilable with the established, multi-factorial consensus of modern science of aging. The theory states that the primary driver of human aging is a lifelong, cumulative deficit in cerebral blood flow (CBF) to critical brain regions, such as the hypothalamus, caused by the constant 1G pull of Earth's gravity on an upright human.
This hypothesis is not only unsupported by robust 'lack of' evidence studies, but is actively contradicted by a substantial body of physiological, cellular, and molecular data.
Your 'Continue' commits a fundamental "category error" by mistaking a physical force (gravity) for the complex, multifactorial biological process of aging. The "evidence" cited in its support, drawn from astronaut physiology, bat longevity, and human height correlations, consists of misinterpreted data, spurious correlations, and significant logical fallacies.
I suggest you invest your hard-earned money in proper, effectual and satisfactorily testable theories of aging to help identify modifiable factors in humans - to help live longer.
Examples: genomic instability (transcriptomics and proteomics work), telomere attrition, genetic/epigenetic alterations (single cell RNA sequencing work) and work on loss of protein homeostasis. These are the major hallmarks of aging and neurodegeneration.
Not gravity.

It’s not just about getting the item back. it is just the relief that restors the trust. Kudos to UC for showing real customer service because not many or atall have shown that type of care even closely.
@abhirajbhal
Within a few mins, the team called her, followed up, and assigned a resolution team. Her earbuds were returned on doorstep within few hours. Kudos to a guy called Pulkit Gupta who helped, as she mentioned to me.

📢A NEW PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT📣
Recently the National Medical Commission (NMC) India, passed new guidelines for doctors that mandated them to prescribe only generic and not branded drugs. If doctors were to prescribe original branded drugs, then they would be punished.
https://t.co/Ub7jeR42UO
But the NMC was quick to put this on hold after multiple doctors, societies and organizations called out the rule as primal, affecting doctors autonomy and one that could worsen quality of clinical care
https://t.co/7dJt4GBuna
But when everyone were arguing and debating about poor quality of generic medicines versus branded ones, me and my team started looking at it objectively.
We collected 2 commonly prescribed medicines: Generic versions of Metformin for diabetes and Atorvastatin for high cholesterol which were taken by a person for 4 months, without any clinical benefit. After shifting to branded versions of both, the person now has fully controlled diabetes and cholesterol state in one months time!
The two sets of medicines were retrieved and sent to a top level drugs testing lab which will test quality of these generic and branded versions of both medicines and provide us a transparent report which we will share here soon.
I have spent 35000 INR for testing seven (generic+branded versions) medicines of metformin and atorvastatin, by paying for it from my pocket.
If the regulatory bodies won't provide people with transparent and confident reports on the quality of consumer level medicines, then me and my Lab will.
After 5 years, we recently stopped testing quality of Ayush products using our own money. We now know for sure that Ayush formulations are top level garbage.
We will try and focus on quality of modern medicines now and this small testing will give us an idea. If our findings are startling, then we wish to move ahead with a fully "peoples funded" project where the public themselves can help us fund the largest medicine quality testing project in the world.
We make healthcare better for ourselves if those in charge remain apathetic towards patients and concerns of treating doctors. More updates soon 🙏
Patients and family are at the centre of what we do. And me and my team will look out for you. We have your backs, until we have the energy, time and strength to face off harassments by doing this. As long as it takes.
Dangers of coffee?
Once again, the Sattvic Movement has outdone itself with this utter nonsense of a video that misleads public on coffee.
The Sattvic Movement is a pseudo-intellectual, pseudo-scientific, spinal-level thinking nationalistic activism from a scientifically illiterate couple, that is leveraged on peddling anti-science concepts, demonizing scientific progression, misinterpreting evidence, and misrepresenting clinical data all the while promoting ancient and primitive superstition written in the religious texts of Ayurveda which promotes culture-traditional dogmatism in healthcare. Even a grade 4 glioblastoma is not as malignant as Sattvic Movement is to India’s scientific temper.
In this video, Lady Sattvic speaks about three “facts” on why coffee is dangerous.
1/ Coffee is just for energizing temporarily and then people who drink coffee become lethargic.
2/ People get physically and psychologically dependent on coffee.
3/ Coffee dehydrates and destroys the lining of the stomach and causes constipation.
Her solution: Have warm herbal teas!
These statements are proof that mental constipation leads to verbal diarrhea and none of these are true.
Coffee does not produce a jerk and flaccid response in the nervous system, but caffeine may.
In fact, coffee as a dietary supplement for health/disease is one of the most scientifically studied aspects in clinical medicine.
Three cups of black coffee without milk or sugar daily have immense health benefits that you need to know about! The Sattvic Movement is just peddling a whole bunch of lies.
Coffee is significantly beneficial for the liver: it reduces fatty liver disease, reduced progression of fatty liver disease, reduces risk of developing cirrhosis and reduces risk of liver cancer development. See here https://t.co/wEborofOoF, here https://t.co/CkXD5ooqif and here https://t.co/25oHxALxt5
Coffee consumption does not only reduce risk of liver cancer, but also breast and endometrial cancer in women, colorectal and prostate cancers in men, reduces risk of dying from all causes, especially metabolic diseases such as diabetes and heart diseases and reduces risk of developing diabetes type 2 and Parkinson’s disease. See here https://t.co/iPel9c1TIA, here https://t.co/fB3AUKQ1t6 here https://t.co/9MZTbqkAxD
People do not get dependent on coffee, but caffeine. Do you know what else contains caffeine apart from coffee? Tea and chocolates. Yes. Dark chocolate contains 43g of caffeine in 100g, coffee contains 20-40g depending on preparatory methods and tea contains 11g caffeine in 100g.
So, is shifting to tea the solution to prevent caffeine dependency? Nope. Avoiding caffeinated products is.
What does that mean? It means that decaffeinated coffee is as good as whole coffee, because the “goodness and benefits on health” of coffee is not dependent on caffeine, but polyenol compounds in coffee. See here https://t.co/2sBck2culZ and here https://t.co/NbKRyj0ABx
And guess what, coffee and caffeine consumption was also significantly associated with decreased risk of depression. Yes, see here: https://t.co/jYlgT33I4g and hey also this – coffee intake was associated with lower incidence of chronic kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease and protein loss in urine. Damn. Coffee is the superhero we all need! See here - https://t.co/wvx4Ap1Syy
So go ahead and enjoy some raw and real/or decaff that will increase longevity, reduce heart and metabolic diseases, cancers and reduce risk of developing degenerative brain diseases.
Ok, so what about herbal teas? It is a bummer. There is absolutely no evidence from clinical studies to showcase that herbal teas are useful for anything other than featuring in misleading, stupid Instagram reels.
But wait, there is more on herbal teas. Herbal teas are not all that safe. Herbal teas, especially green tea extract infusions were associated with liver injury, liver failure and death or organ transplantation. The European Union warned and limited the use of green tea extracts in foods fearing liver damage among consumers. See here https://t.co/iPOUrV56Gp and here https://t.co/jPxawQn1Eo
And if you look at benefits of herbal teas versus adverse events of herbal teas in published literature, you will see that adverse events feature more.
Herbal teas have caused liver injury, liver failure, multiple organ failure, accelerated hypertension, paralysis, chronic liver injury, heart failure, brain strokes and brain failure and so much more in humans! See this link: https://t.co/Caoe9Rm51O
Oh, by the way, coffee does not increase blood pressure. In fact, it lowers it. So do not be too miserable on that. In habitual coffee users (3-5 cups a day), coffee had benefits on blood pressure parameters. Do not believe me? See here: https://t.co/ivXl0u79dM and about that destroying stomach lining and causing constipation – that was just bluff from the annoyingly sounding Lady Sattvic. See here https://t.co/xl4nVhcNDl
But is coffee safe for all?
No.
Pregnant women, please avoid more than 1-2 cups a day. See here: https://t.co/lZcBotutAA
So, what is this Sattvic Movement all about?
It is all about destroying the scientific temperament of the public in India and by misleading the public, they are creating more patients for the modern medicine hospitals to treat. Are they funded by Big Pharma? Hmmm, I wonder.
I am going to think that over a hot cup of black coffee. I think you should too!
And don’t forget to share this information with your herbal tea lover friends!

There is a sheer brilliance in whatever @ZoyaAkhtarOff and @reemakagti does. Yet another masterpiece of Made of Heaven 2 by these ladies...Love it so so much and the monologues in the end are just ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@join2manish They'll accept if better if you'd say, 'you eat late lunch at 5.30 so you don't eat dinner'. Bad habits are much better accepted than good 🤦♀️
Here is a video story of the @IndianExpress investigation into Prashan Mantri Krishi Sichai Yojna's micro irrigation scheme in Jharkhand. How Aadhaar card was misused and farmers lured to meet the numbers. Tune in. Don't miss the last two minutes.
