I often speak about Marcus Garvey’s story. An unknown man from St. Ann who rose to become one of the most impactful figures in the world. His life reminds us that greatness can come from anywhere, including SIDS with limited resources.
I found out that EduFocal was ranked number 225 on TIME Magazine’s list of the World’s Top 350 EdTech Companies. The list includes companies that have raised hundreds of millions of US dollars in funding. We did not apply for this recognition. It came purely from the work we continue to do.
Jamaicans are exceptional people. With support, and often without it, we create value that matches and sometimes exceeds what is produced in countries with far more resources.
