One takeaway from Node weekend. I noticed that those who want to and can afford a CryptoPunk, likely already have one. Many of us are wondering who will be the next wave of characters to collect a six figure asset. Their reputation is set in stone as the pinnacle of NFTs.

Meanwhile, Nakamigos are new and exciting. They’re also still affordable. Many NFT believers, Punk holders or not, left Palo Alto with a new appreciation, curiosity, and desire to join the Nakamigos. Migos showed up and were loud, they didn’t ask for permission to be there, and they definitely were the life of the party. Meegs represented and made our presence felt, leaving a lasting impression for all in attendance. Nakamigos are fun and all are welcome.

Lost $1M and in massive debt. I will go live tomorrow to tell my story, and answer any questions.

This is all real. I have no reason to “larp” or whatever you kids call it.

I am happy to also screenshare to show proof of loss, on top of a 400 credit score.

The credit cards are just a portion of debt. I have loans from sofi, lendingtree, and upgrade. Around $300k total.

All accounts closed and been moved to debt collectors and i probably have a lawsuit coming.

Why am I doing this? I think in many ways, I just feel lonely. Maybe this is a way to feel heard. To help educate others that you don’t have to go to extremes. Money is not everything in life. Easy to say in hindsight.

Staying positive in this world and finding meaning is pretty hard at this point. Wife left me. Kids with her. Friends and family don’t care about me. Jobless. But…one day at a time.

At least I have the internet.

Protect your time like it's bloody rent.

Think about it. If your landlord doubled the rent tomorrow, you'd fight to find every dollar. You'd cut the waste, track every expense, and protect your paycheck like your life depended on it. Time is worth more than money, but most people give it away for free to distractions, gossip, scrolling, and bullshit commitments. Every wasted hour is a bill you can never repay. Guard it. Charge interest for it. Spend it only where it compounds on your growth, your health, your craft, and your peace.
Because once it's gone, there's no refund. Pay attention, pay wisely, and never let anyone treat your hours like pocket change. Protect your time like it's rent, because it is.
