Now watching the last movie of one of my favourite directors ever #DavidDhawan sir.

1st half of #HaiJawaniTohIshqHonaHai moves at a breakneck pace and gives you little time to think. Song picturisation & locales are gorgeous.

There are a lot of references to David sir's earlier films including #MujhseShaadiKarogi, #DulhanHumLeJayenge & #Partner. Humour is situational and works fine. Punchlines, however, could have been funnier.

#VarunDhawan does a fair job till now in what is a bread-and-butter role for him. #MrunalThakur & #PoojaHegde are looking stunning.

The story itself is simple, but #YunusSajawal's screenplay keeps introducing quirky characters, misunderstandings and comic situations that maintain audience interest. The first half takes time to settle down, but once the central conflict kicks in, the film becomes a complete laughter ride.

#VarunDhawan is in his comfort zone and carries the film with infectious energy. He occasionally goes overboard but remains consistently entertaining. #MrunalThakur delivers one of her most charming commercial performances while #PoojaHegde looks glamorous and handles her role confidently. The surprise package is #MouniRoy, who leaves a strong impact despite limited screen time.

The music is another major winner. #Wow, #VyahKarwadoJi and #TeraHoJaun work well within the narrative, while #ChunnariChunnari emerges as the clear crowd favourite.

The screenplay completely shifts into overdrive with the chaotic entry of Preet, triggering a magnificent, multi-layered rollercoaster ride of accidental pregnancy misunderstandings.
