@froglet80@WIRED Same @WIRED talk to me... if you want to talk about long COVID patients who responded to mind body therapy, then maybe you should discuss the other side more thoroughly- those of us who have responded to antivirals.
I have documented lymphocyte deficiency and recovery:
Hey @WIRED
Want to try real journalism? I'll talk on the record, and give access to my medical records. Hell its all been posted here anyway. Persistent CD4 lymphopenia that was not present before SARS-CoV-2 infection and does respond to antivirals.
I dare you to cover it.
@HantaTracking It's totally bass-ackwards in the US. Why aren't they screening passengers BEFORE allowing them to board an enclosed metal tube with 150 people? ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
Look, the rule is that a living person can't be printed on our currency. So if Trump wants his face on the $250 bill in time for our 250th anniversary, he's got a tough choice to make in a short amount of time.
@ThatEricAlper Beer bottle label. "This is the famous Budweiser beer. We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a taste, a smoothness and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price.โ
A new post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) antiviral for COVID may be available soon! Ensitrelvir has been used for years successfully in Japan. Unlike Paxlovid, it can be taken after potential COVID exposure. Patients don't have to wait until they are symptomatic and test positive. Paxlovid failed as PEP in trials, but ensitrelvir was effective. Ensitrelvir has fewer drug interactions than Paxlovid, meaning patients that previously had no treatment options could take ensitrelvir.
In our book A National Treatment and Research Agenda for Long Covid, LCAP called for streamlining of the FDA application process to speed up the approval of drugs like ensitrelvir and for its use as COVID post exposure prophylaxis. With US FDA approval, access to the drug for Long Covid treatment trials will increase. Ensitrelvir has not yet been FDA approved. The decision date is scheduled for June. See next post for a link to a petition encouraging the FDA to approve the drug.

@froglet80 I only have anecdotal evidence. Friends with psoriatic arthritis whose rashes appear repeatedly in random spots- each person presented differently. One person would get only a tiny speck on her neck. Another gets welts behind the knees, and one looked like textbook rash on arms.
@EricJensen_1986@1goodtern Wasn't the French woman the one they claimed had a "mildly positive" test?
It's like having a mildly positive pregnancy test.
It was in year 5 of the Long Covid pandemic that we took action. Now in year 7, what are you waiting for?

@BritUO@Angry_Staffer No worries! I wasn't clear.
The first correspondents dinner he agrees to attend... and he wants it to continue! That's not suspicious at all.
Did they get a good photo op this time like they did with the ear shot? I turned off my tv.
Our power is going off Monday if I don't come up with the last $50 for the bill, I need to chip in my part of the rent but if that is impossible right now I at least need to come up with some money for food and gas for the vehicle also. I'm exhausted and there is still so much to do. Its depressing day after day to see no movement on this at all. I was better off at the camp but this wasn't a choice, I was forced out. Now I have nothing. Please don't send me back to the streets without so much as a tarp or sleeping bag anymore. I can't do it again, I just can't.
