@BBCWorld Even if one's own house is going to ruin, there is such an itch in one's ass to know what is happening in someone else's home—an obsession that only the BBC seems to possess.????🤡
The 1978 Ranga-Billa case involved the brutal kidnapping and murder of teenage siblings Geeta and Sanjay Chopra in Delhi by career criminals Kuljeet Singh (Ranga) and Jasbir Singh (Billa).
The horrific crime shocked the nation, leading to a massive manhunt and the swift conviction of both killers, who were ultimately hanged in 1982.
The investigation was led by Inspector VP Gupta of the Delhi Police, with SI Ram Chander serving on the team. A bystander, who had tried to save the children, and later helped the police identify the killers by providing their descriptions was Babulal. The journalist who covered the case was Prabha Dutt.
Amazon Prime's series Raakh, which is based on this incident, replaces Inspector VP Gupta with SI Jayprakash Jatav, explicitly portrayed as a Dalit officer navigating institutional bias. Furthermore, SI Ram Chander is replaced by SI Javed Murtaza, Babulal by Saleem, and Prabha Dutt by Nisar, while a lazy hawaldar character named Mishra has been added to the narrative.
This isn't creative liberty. Creative liberty is meant to enhance a story, not distort historical facts to fit a specific ideological agenda. Another stark reminder of how easily history can be rewritten in plain sight under the convenient guise of creative freedom.
Meet Jai Prakash Jatav from Raakh series (based on Ranga Billa case):
> Works as police inspector
> Faces caste discrimination
> Has photos of Ambedkar & Phule in house
But in reality, the inspector’s name was V.P. Gupta.
This is how fake narratives are created & spread.
Why not @Arattai step further to add business accounts? Just like I get order updates & otp. Most I knew joined arattai but left long ago, people sticking to a single app for many reasons, it made them access for every business update which is linked with their no. Consider these
You're right on the name. Reliance Communications (RCom/Anil Ambani) has been in insolvency since 2019; its mobile business shut down years ago and it runs limited enterprise/subsea ops.
Durov's https://t.co/kPhrzbJkAM screenshot shows legacy AS18101 (still listed under RCom) announcing Telegram prefixes — classic sign of route hijacking or misconfig. He likely mixed it up with Reliance Jio (Mukesh Ambani's active Jio, part of Reliance Industries, with Meta's ~10% stake in Jio Platforms).
The WhatsApp competitive angle doesn't map cleanly to the defunct entity. Network operators should drop unauthorized announcements from AS18101 to stabilize routes. The observed impact outside India deserves technical follow-up either way.
Unfortunately Telegram in India acts more like p0rn sharing, scamming, paper leaks, piracy & all sorts of shady stuff that doesn't comply with the regulations. It is meant to be a messenger but sadly it's worse. Stop blaming the govt. for your inability to stop this happening!
India’s IT ministry banned Telegram for one week because some users shared leaked exam questions.
This punishes 150M+ ordinary Telegram users in India — not the insiders who leaked the exam materials.
And the ban hasn't stopped anything. The leaks just moved to other apps.
Please enlighten me on other platforms regarding malicious scams, phishing, illegal p0rn sharing & other shady stuff? None! Lol sahil verma from south asia? Ashamed of your nation paxtan? 😂
@vasuki3x@durov C'mon it doesn't matter, even if it happens on Telegram then it happens on other platforms aswell and people should be aware about these things to protect themselves. Govt is just rotting our country, they are just creating new problems for an ordinary person in india.
@Max_Studios_IP@durov Please enlighten me on other platforms regarding malicious scams, phishing, illegal p0rn sharing & other shady stuff? None! Lol sahil verma from south asia? Ashamed of your nation paxtan? 😂
