We coordinated positions with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, regarding negotiations with partners on financial support for Ukraine and the implementation of agreements already reached at various levels. It is important that every announced support package is implemented precisely when it is truly needed.

We also discussed the timetable for the planned strengthening of government structures – there are personnel issues that need to be resolved. Some personnel appointments require further dialogue with Members of Parliament. We agreed that part of the staff decisions at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will be finalized next week.

We will continue to seek additional opportunities to strengthen Ukraine’s defense through cooperation with countries we have previously engaged with less. We are bringing Ukraine’s expertise in defense to the global level. Every Ukrainian company, all our manufacturers and developers, and the experience of our military in defense operations – all of this is a major Ukrainian asset.

Today in Ukraine is another very hard day, really hard night – the day after a massive Russian attack. In just one night, there were nearly 300 attack drones, 19 ballistic missiles, as well as cruise missiles. Air-raid sirens sounded across many of our cities.

And this came after waves of “shaheds” had filled our skies just yesterday. Dozens of people have been injured. And sadly, so sadly, there are also lives lost in Odesa, Kyiv, in Dnipro. Just ordinary people, children, civilians, killed by Russian madness.

If it’s possible, please, I ask you now to honor their memory, and all those whose lives have been taken by this terrible war, with a minute of silence.

A ceasefire is the right decision that leads to ending the war. It means saving lives, abandoning the destruction of cities and villages, and allowing power plants and other infrastructure to operate normally – and thus provides the time and conditions necessary for diplomacy to deliver results.

Ukraine has always called for a ceasefire in the war waged by Russia here in Europe against our state and our people, and we support the ceasefire in the Middle East and the Gulf that paves the way for diplomatic efforts. Ukraine tells Russia once again: we are ready to respond in kind if the Russians stop their strikes. It is obvious to everyone that a ceasefire can create the right preconditions for agreements.

Various countries have been involved in the negotiating process, and it is important that the United States has taken this diplomatic step. In recent weeks, Ukraine has been helping to protect lives in the Middle East and the Gulf. Ukrainian expert military teams will continue to work in the region to help further develop security capabilities. The situation in this region has global implications – any threats to security and stability in the Middle East and the Gulf amplify challenges for the economy and the cost of living in every country.

That is why security must be guaranteed, and the interests of every nation must be taken into account when defining post-war arrangements. It is equally essential to safeguard freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and resolve on this issue also has global significance.

To achieve the right outcome, active and coordinated action by the international community is needed. There must be more security after the war, not less. Ukraine will continue to work constructively with all partners. Thank you to everyone who is helping!

This is a damaged maternity house in Odesa following a direct hit by a Russian-Iranian “Shahed” drone.

Only true barbarians can do something like this. And only true strength can stop such terror.

Mass attack on Odesa and Kryvyi Rih targeted residential areas and critical infrastructure. One woman was killed and over a dozen people injured, including a small boy.

As I told my G7 colleagues yesterday, the only way to make Russia end the war is through increased pressure on the aggressor: sanctions, isolation, accountability, support for Ukraine.

Today is Security Service Day in Ukraine. 

Security service warriors of Ukraine's armed forces operate across all areas of defence, protecting Ukraine from the enemy on the frontlines and in the rear, countering hostile networks, including Russia’s cyber operations against Ukraine.

This strong and highly effective special service plays a key role in defending our country. We thank them for their contribution to Ukraine’s security, weakening the enemy, and safeguarding lives. Eternal memory to the fallen heroes.

Ukrainians are a nation of unbreakable people. Ukrainians have a unique will. Ukrainians are strong. Ukrainians are champions in spirit. Another proof of this is the performance of our national Paralympic team at the Winter Paralympic Games in Italy. Nineteen medals. That is an outstanding result. Today, I honored the champions and medalists of the 14th Winter Paralympic Games, 2026, as well as their coaches, with state awards.

At these Games, our flag rose repeatedly, and Ukraine’s national anthem rang out in victory again – and all of this unites Ukrainians in two emotions: great pride and gratitude. To each and every one of you – the athletes, the coaches, the administrators, every member of our national team, and everyone who made this success possible – thank you.
