Official AAM 6.0.5 release is out https://t.co/U0WFuEsiH7. This completes our two weeks "bug sprint" and we are happy to announce that all the critical bugs have been resolved and confirmed by end-users. Thank you all for the feedback!
This is the first book in YEARS that I've finished in one sitting. So TRUE for anybody who does custom web work for clients. "Dealing with Problem Clients: Fencing in the Friendly Monsters" by @nathaningram https://t.co/CR4fGUa8mR
@BenArellano@IndieHackers Following your path with my @aamplugin. It definitely takes x10 more effort and energy than expected. Btw, big chunk of my paid audience are educational institutions. We should chat when you have time
tinyShield now checks all outgoing connections against our blacklists. If something is found connecting to a blocked IP, your site *might* be infected. Version 0.2.4 is out now. #wpsecurity#happyfriday
I've been desperately looking for integration between @Flarum and @algolia so. @franzliedke & @tobscure did amazing job organizing their code base. I had working prototype just in few hours https://t.co/wyrKAQ6Dc5 and now it is in production https://t.co/QlnCqqW6UD
AAM plugin 5.9 is out. https://t.co/U0WFuEsiH7 A lot of improvement related to AAM UI security. Also added ability to assign multiple roles to users https://t.co/JdVm7csHee and more...
Fantastic time during #WCUS even. Coming back with tons of ideas. One of them is that AAM will be integrated with #Gutenberg asap. Great stuff #WordPress@photomatt
Quick article about why policies change the way #WordPress access and #security managements can be done in the most efficient way https://t.co/kfsQouSrLj
@vovafeldman seams like you are going to #WCUS. Just want to make sure that I can find you to say hi. Your story with WP plugins is so similar to mine and I would love to catch up with you for few minutes.
@technerdteitzel@chrislema Overall you are right. My point here that it is really hard to automate testing with WP. I know that for fact as I’m creator for @aamplugin that is used almost on 100k websites. You just have to know your code and react fast on customers feedback
@technerdteitzel@chrislema It all depends. #WordPress core with active plugins and theme creates a complex “web” through actions and filters. Also adding relations between posts&taxonomies make it near impossible to create good test cases. Not to mention server hardware...
@technerdteitzel@chrislema That is an ideal world. If you really looking for fully automated testing suite, then you have to allocate 2 hours to write test cases for each hour of coding. Highly impractical in the dynamic world of #WordPress and #WooCommerce
There is always someone telling you their version of reaching success. But looking back thru the rear view mirror doesn’t necessarily create a plan you can follow. After all, it’s their success. Create your own path! Build your own best practice.
