@whatMsKsaid While Ms. K has solicited input from so many people before we've even read the guide for the course that is new to us, we will be doing our best to design the course over the summer, and we are certain that we'll make great decisions as a team.
@whatMsKsaid I am pleased to hear that so many people are interested in great books! Our school has had many dedicated instructors who have been teaching IB for many years, thus our book room already has so many titles to offer.
@BestPixMN We call them Wisconsin Death Circles as the rash of them seemed to spread Westward into Minnesota. They seem to be the epitome of entitlement as one approaches and can sing to themselves that, "nothing's stopping me!" Meanwhile, pedestrians and bikers have no safe crossing.
4/ Can you see why NEASO staff might prefer to have flexibility to work remotely?
You can follow the progress and show your support on NEASO pages at:

3/ Do you have to pay a year-long parking contract to park at work? NEA Staff do, again, at downtown Washington DC rates. One such contract in Minneapolis costs about $230. Monthly Reserved rate for the Ramos in DC? $557.90, Monthly Rate at the same ramp for parking $283.95.
2/ The letter compared a Washington DC-based average salary to national average teacher salaries as a way to imply that "they make more than you" to diminish solidarity. They truly don't. $120k in DC would be $77.5k in Minneapolis, for example.
1/ Please support the NEASO in their bargaining process with the NEA.
The largest educators union should uphold fair labor practices! It should not gaslight teachers by playing divide and conquer strategies such as the letter to all delegates to the upcoming NEA convention.
@GovArne Thank you for your commentary during today's Minnesota Now program on MPR. I was shocked to hear what you had to say about our alma mater's current state of affairs, and I hope that MPR follows up on each of the investigative reports into activities at the U of MN.
Could you describe the shape of the mirrors at room temperature that permit them to be the correct shape at their operational temperature? Is it a uniform shape? What ensures that the distortions behave predictably? #UnfoldTheUniverse
@carlreiner May you rest in peace, dear sir. I may not have followed you for long, but I respect how you have used this platform and how you resisted and fought until your last day!
