@SaffronOlive I think @TheTrinketMage had a similar video; about 10 mins in they reference EDHRec and number of decks with legends. https://t.co/MgtE5f8Y8D
@KingScarletYGO Its popularity has definitely changed how the game itself is designed and developed, but it’s not so so bad. Brackets largely help prevent total deck mismatches, but the variance in deck construction and player expectations for any given game CAN make it kinda awful.
at a party in my KFC Pickle Puffer trying to do the dance move where you use one leg to jump over your other leg that youre holding by the shoe only to fall flat on my face spraying pickle juice in every single direction
@wzrdnx It’s like watching someone you know and
had fun getting high with a couple times, and now they’re off chasing the dragon and like, I can’t be friends with you anymore, this sucks
@FlorkOfCows tmnt smacks of, "small supplemental sets initially, but more stuff added as the first small sets (aftermath/assassin's creed) flopped giga-hard, and we can't have that"
theory extends to commander decks, the tmnt land base is, frankly, insane.
