@LaxmanSivarama1@bagga_buntyy1 Sir what happened in the previous Melbourne test final day, wasn't the team aware about the coming rain. We were chasing 120 odd and slow batting and rain ensured a draw for the Aussies. Couldn't we have gone faster in the chase.
@ashestoarchive@ivivianrichards As reported in the 80's Viv is known to have suffered from hemorrhoids, I have seen pics from the 1984 England tour of Viv resting between deliveries and Ian Botham signalling for drinks. This one seems to be from the Aussie tour of WI in 1990-91
@joybhattacharj It happens in India, when a Bavuma or a Sammy or a Symonds gets called and many people still think it is funny. Glad that some parts of the World realize this is not on, where ever the game is played.
@BoothCricket So sad to hear this, always loved a Robin Smith story and your interview last week was one such. Anand Vasu, Indian journalist had profiled him as well a few years ago in Australia. The cricket boards can do better to take care of their players esp the legends
@cricketcomau Wonderful share, have been looking for this for sometime. Batting masterclasses from Mullally, Chris Martin, Courtney Walsh always entertainment. Yester year classics Indian maestros ... Chandra (who was presented a bat with holes in Aus) and Dilip Doshi (taken Imran apart once)
@ashestoarchive Hordes of Indian TV viewers were scarred for life after Kanpur in 1983. The first name I would look up when Ind vs WI, was is Marshall's name in the team, India had a chance without Macko. When he walked to the top of the run up and turned, it was sheer terror.
