The mode will no longer be expanded with new heroes or maps after each settling at around 3% of daily players in both Ranked and Unranked.

ミッドパッチ後のブリギッテ、勇気の盾入れてる人いるけど、バッシュをエンゲージにしか使わないなら微妙だよ。バッシュを当てる前提なら総量で12+AP分しか回復増加しない。それなら大容量パックの方がはるかに良い。逃げバッシュ多めなら勇気の盾を取っても良いかな…。#OWスタジアム

That "3%" figure from Blizzard was a manufactured result. In S1, 5heroes were added to CORE, but only Ramattra was added to STADIUM. In S3, STADIUM saw nothing but balance adjustments. They’re using "3%" to justify not adding heroes? Their data collection methods are flawed.

I think some people don't understand how much it changed since this announcement. Only time when i was having an issue to find a game was at night like literally a month ago. During a day this mode was so alive, 3% player base it's not really a small number. Usually 1-2 minutes to find a match during a day when i queue just DPS and support. The screenshot i took was not only during a day, but also in weekend!
This mode will be closed, because no updates means people will entirely lose interest and come back to regular game. Another project of Blizzard in OW that is going to be scrapped instead of working on it. They were so proud about it, just like PvE. They paid voice actors to record lines for stadium, characters that will never be added there. They made assets, custom maps etc. It saddens me it took them so much time to work on something that turns out to be abanddoned.

I'm very salty about it, yes, because it's my favorite thing n this game and i REALLY wish Blizzard will change their mind and make a survey for public to ask players what they could improve, what was strong things people liked and what people disliked. There is currently too many items in this game and anyone new who trying this mode is just straight confused

データ分析を仕事でやってる身としてはまともなデータの取り方じゃないんだよね。2つの街で、片方の街だけで沢山の給付金があったところ、もう片方の街では給付金がわずかだった。それで当然、経済は片方の街だけで潤う。もう片方の街は3%しか住んでないから要らないね？面白すぎる分析だよ。

Basing the decision to scale back the Stadium on data from S3—a period where no new characters were introduced and game balance was poor due to certain overpowered characters—is simply not the right call.

If the decision is made not to add characters to STADIUM, they should present data showing that—despite characters having been added—only 3% of players actually engaged with the content.
