There’s no doubt in my mind that the FUD on ZEC today is gonna look like anyone fudding BTC. Too many people are over analyzing this trade. It’s truly the most simple thesis in the entire crypto market.
1. Government continues to debase currency investing a significant portion into AI development.
2. AI gets increasingly smarter and deployed across crypto.
3. onchain surveillance / attack vectors / policing increase while the desire for sovereign debasement protection increases.
4. Money searches for protection in extremely small basket of assets that can fit this demand on a technical, sustainable, liquidity, and distribution level.
5. Every way you look at it ZEC is by far the strongest in this basket.
Most people putting way too much weight on RSI and the exploit that hasn’t materialized into any convincing evidence that it was used.
earlier cycles were marginally more meritocratic, superior analysis of public information meant better trades. opportunity was open.
now it is almost entirely an elitist insider game for young socialites, substanceless fashion-hype, 99% noise. they don't know different
RESEARCH: In early June, @Zcash caught a soundness flaw in its Orchard shielded circuit and turned the fix into public, verifiable data.
As of July 28th, the Ironwood upgrade has sealed the old pool, and formally verifies there can never be another undetectable bug in Orchard or Ironwood.
As of August 10th, ~60% of all Orchard funds have migrated to Ironwood.
volatile chop, no feel on timetable, but quantum privacy and wealth tax are the next big narrative, im thinking bitcoin style run to $20,000 it’s the only interesting tech advancement in the space
2028 libtard presidential regime fear probably sparks the run

Price has pulled back toward $486, but underneath the surface:
• 2.4M+ ZEC has migrated Orchard → Ironwood
• 92.6% of supply is now verified
• Ironwood already holds 2.56M ZEC
• 71% of migrated ZEC came from 1,000+ ZEC transactions
• Spot volume is up 39% over the last 24H
• Futures volume is up 12%
Network adoption continues while market participation is beginning to wake back up. Price hasn't caught up with the underlying activity yet. Seeing a slight disconnect and monitoring it closely.
A reminder that the vast majority of personalities and content on crypto X are from (very) short term traders.
Digital assets aren't going away. Distributed systems aren't going away. People strongly dislike fiat money as well as government and corporate invasions of privacy.
Strong projects with good fundamentals should accrue value over time. Try to buy slowly over time, control your emotions, and keep a journal of what you're doing and why.
"Obfuscation and other passthrough methods are no match for modern AI"
This is a key insight many have yet to realize.
Shell games no longer work in this new era. It's either completely encrypted, or it's not private.
This is why Zcash is so important.
Error correction codes will be a solved field thanks to AI
And correspondingly we will get a golden age for cryptography.
Just pre-emptively raise your security margins :)
Hey guys
You want retail back right?
Well retail people have jobs, they have lives
They don’t want to trench on daily runners
They want to buy a dream and hold it to sell for a 100x
The game will be much more fun to play when everyone feels they can play it
We're building the UX that puts ZEC in the hands of billions.

some thoughts on the sentiment around crypto
first, the AI comparisons seem silly in the grand scheme unless your time horizon was 3 years
people have been working to make AI a thing for many decades, and scalable crypto didn't exist until 3 years ago
not to mention, AI will aid crypto as AI excels in aiding software + math based systems
(upgrading monetary systems is also a much longer process than upgrading software systems)
second, speculation is innate in all humans and has been for centuries
since speculation will never go away, neither will crypto
class inequality rises -> more speculation and more opportunity to make it on a globally accessible permisionless economic computer
or... class inequality reduces due to socialism barriers and state controls -> then you again need crypto against the barriers
there is no world in which crypto does not keep growing
the only questions that remained were i) is there potential beyond speculation? ii) will these things scale or will they remain slow databases? iii) can they become serious enough to break a trillion in mcap? iv) will governments allow it?
those have been answered positively with stablecoins, solana, bitcoin, and recent regulations
there remains tremendous work to be done on the frontiers for ownership, security, privacy, integrations, and legislation
you should be happy that there are still many problems to solve otherwise there'd be no opportunity nor any fun
I am tremendously long crypto
Project Tachyon, Valar Group, Zcash Foundation, Shielded Labs, and Zodl have agreed to make some minor adjustments and clarifications for the poll questions ahead of the Coinholder and ZCAP polls, which will happen in parallel.
