A very valid point raised. Is this due to any pre-existing immunity that people in the third world seem to have? Or maybe due to the BCG vaccine that poor countries still administer to their citizens which was earlier touted as the reason for relatively unscathed survival of them
The US is still seeing 30-40k Covid cases/day and averaging 1200 deaths a day. This makes no sense after 2 years of vaccination and very high infection rates. Germany has 200k & SKorea 380k cases/day.

Today, towards the end of my shift, I video called the relatives of a patient who is not going to make it. We usually do that in my hospital if it’s something they want. This patient’s son asked for a few minutes of my time. He then sang a song for his dying mother.
@netplusofficial There can't be a company in 21st-century world with worse customer service than NetPlus. They consider customers like fools. I wonder how this company is still afloat.
I often hear people say that X is broken. Congress is broken. Academia is broken. Physics is broken. Deep learning is broken. People like to stand in crowds and point fingers at the thing that is broken. I prefer the quiet folks who roll up their sleeves and get to work, fixing.
