All she was asking was a short break before the World Championship last year, since back to back naman ang naging competition nya when she was still playing for Scandicci at sobrang ikli talaga ng break para sa kanila saka for the past 10 yrs never naman siya nagskip ng NT duties, of all the people na nakakakilala kay Ca, even when i spoke with one of her closest friends, very patriotic sya when it comes to NT duties hanggat kaya nya at gusto siya ng technical committee ng team.

Luzia is still young, i’d say she’s fully ready for 2032 Brisbane Olympics. Ju, Diana are the starting MBs.

I cant disclose infos i know but i’m still hopeful for Carol coming back to NT, iba pa rin ang mag presence ng veteran just like when Thaisa came back in 2023 to help the team in their Paris campaign.

Finally home, but took me a while to open her message as I was in my uber when I saw a message in my instagram 🥹 and to my surprise, a message from Carolana herself. I’m so happy she even took time to send me a message recognising my support to cheer our team even if she’s not anymore with the team 🥺

😢 Eu sinto muita falta dela. É tão diferente não vê-la na Seleção. Ainda tenho esperança de que um dia ela retorne à nossa amada Seleção.

di naman kasi 1 woman show ang volleyball, kaya nga tinawag na team work kasi 6 kayong magkakasama dyan sa loob ng court, iba-iba ang style ng kada players, hindi man buhatera si rosa ng team, she knows how to step up when the team needed her to create points. Iba ang style ng Brazilian opposites, hindi lang si Rosa, they know how to be all around not just only in attacking. Yan ang tinuturo ni Zé at ng coaching staffs nila hindi lang sa national team even on the club level since i’ve been following Volei Brasil from 1997 to this day even in the Superliga

😂🤦🏻‍♀️ diba? kelan pa kaya may nagawang tama si rosa sa kanila lalo sa kanya, e kahit ata maghalimaw pa si rosa sa lahat ng game pero kamalian pa rin ng lola mo nakikita nila, este “nya” pala. Masyado ang obsession nila, este “nya” pala ke Rosa, matindi nga kamo pati si Macris na halos di na makalaro di nya pinatawad. Si Roberta lalo, akala mo naman kagalingan siyang player e baka iharap ko siya sa mga yan e di nya makuha humarap sa mga pinagsasabi nya. 🙄😤 At higit sa lahat di nya pinatawad si Zé na halos buhay na ang volleyball and yet wala rin magandang ginawa para sa kanila, este sa “kanya” si Zé. 🙄

A throwback photo with Julia B. in 2023, after their weights training. I was able to had a chance to have a chat with Julia while we were waiting for the rest of the girls. We talked about her journey from Brusque to Georgia Tech and in the Seleção.

Julia even shared to me her vision as a person as I said i’ve been following her journey from the first time she was been called up in the NT and told her how she was so brave enough to skip the early call ups for her to turn pro at the age of 18 and instead choosing to study at Georgia Tech University while being a student-athlete and taking Physics as a major degree.

Because for her, volleyball wont be there for life, there will be a time you will be hanging up your knee pads and shoes to face life outside volleyball and I praised her for that maturity in life’s decision.

We also talked about Mari Brambilla and I even said to Julia I was even surprise not seeing Mari being called up for the NT because I can see the potential on her as I was also following Mari during her stint at GTU and dang, that girl can play ball and fly high explosive shots and she also wished to see Mari performs for the team too because she and Mari were best of friends especially they both studied and played for GTU.

Anyway, I’m thankful to Julia for sharing a conversation with me and she’s absolutely a very lovely person inside and out. And it absolutely hurts me the most seeing the bashing she receives from some other people here just because they lost in the finals and totally disregarding all the work they did and in just 1 defeat all of it was been thrown over the window.

.Our girls deserved the gold, but getting into that position isnt an easy task. Forming a champion team takes years to find the right combination, and above all, the proper investment by the national federation is a must, no ifs no buts. We cannot compete with other teams who spends thousands of dollars if not even a million investing to their national team.

And let’s accept the fact that Brazilian Superliga is starting to become obsolete due to lack of funding from our own federation. We need to give incentives for the local clubs to stimuli again the interest from high calibre foreign players to play for Superliga and to help those clubs who dont really get enough financial support to run the club and to hire high calibre players to increase the competitiveness with our own local players in Brasil Superliga.

Sinceramente, não posso opinar sobre isso. Mas uma coisa que posso dizer é que o talento está lá, mas falta investimento na equipe. E, se você me perguntar, elas já tinham nutricionista e psicólogos esportivos no time. Já acompanhei as meninas nos treinos e não posso criticar o método usado pela comissão técnica. Estou mais preocupado com o impacto das lesões em algumas jogadoras e o efeito psicológico que isso pode ter na mentalidade delas, como vi acontecer com a Aninha durante o jogo.

Perfeita demais @jaquelinevolei ! Campeões não surgem em um dia; leva anos para construir uma equipe campeã, leva anos para desenvolver talentos. E nós construímos esses talentos de cima para baixo, sem atalhos. E esse é o Brasil, porque eu acredito nessa visão, nessa equipe. Talento e habilidade não se compram com dinheiro, porque a habilidade de um verdadeiro campeão vem de dentro.

Não é fácil para essas garotas entrarem em uma batalha sem sua capitã. E foi ainda mais difícil para elas perderem JuKu e Tainara durante a fase regular da VNL devido a lesões; é como ir para uma batalha onde seus inimigos atiram com armas de grosso calibre e tanques, e você só tem uma pistola para se defender. Sim, as pessoas estão cansadas de ver o ouro escapar por entre os dedos nos últimos dez anos, mas vocês acham que é fácil para essas garotas cada vez que elas ficam perto do ouro? Claro que não! Se nós estamos frustrados, elas também estão! E mesmo assim, elas escolheram continuar sonhando, lutando por esse ouro tão desejado e trazendo alegria para seus fãs mais fiéis. E o mínimo que podemos fazer é apoiar essas garotas, continuar sonhando e ter esperança de que um dia finalmente conquistaremos esse ouro tão desejado, porque ganhar um campeonato exige anos de sacrifícios e trabalho árduo para alcançar o objetivo máximo de todo atleta. E como fãs incondicionais, o mínimo que podemos fazer é demonstrar carinho e apoio a essas meninas, apoiando-as em todas as batalhas que enfrentarem, na vitória e na derrota.

Quem quer perder? Você acha que é fácil para essas jogadoras ficarem aquém neste torneio? Claro que não! É fácil para nós dizermos essas coisas porque não estamos no lugar delas. Vou dar um exemplo: o time feminino do FC Barcelona. Esse time levou muitos anos para chegar ao auge, levou muitos anos para elas estarem onde estavam quando todos menosprezavam o time. Devemos pelo menos reconhecer o trabalho que essas meninas fizeram nesta temporada da VNL. Mesmo sem a Gabi, elas conseguiram destronar a então campeã, algo que nem eu esperava, já que as titulares voltaram na terceira semana. E mesmo assim, essas meninas provaram a todos que podem vencer, mesmo sem a Gabi.

I dont ask everyone to agree with me as we all live in a free and democratic society. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion after all. But at least know how to give credit to when it is due especially for this girls who fought their way up to the finals even without our 4 starters (Gabi, JuKu, Nyeme, Tainara).

Everyone was even putting down this team since QFs saying we wouldnt even passed Japan and yet the girls did their job even without Gabi and the other three girls.

I dont expect you to even follow me here and you’re more than welcome to hit that unfollow button because i rather have small community here than have a fight for trying to defend this girls.

We can criticize them but discrediting the job this girls did is another BS and that’s not what you call constructive criticisms, that’s already bashing. There’s a difference between constructively criticizing and bashing.

Anyway, i rest my case. It’s such a shame that the first people who i expect to even rally behind this team were the people choosing to attack the team. Just totally disappointing because all the hardwork this girls did just went to the ground just because they got defeated.

I’ll leave you guys this word, “in every game, there will always be a winner and a loser. And losing is not a very easy situation at all especially for a team who gave everything they can to overcome the obstacles they’re facing on the road”.

Para nós, é fácil sermos fãs, mas é muito difícil para quem não entende que construir uma equipe perfeita leva anos e um longo processo até mesmo para atingir o ápice. E vamos aceitar o fato de que outras equipes também estavam em evolução. Devemos também aprender a aceitar que em todo jogo há um vencedor e um perdedor, e perder é a parte mais difícil de uma partida. Mesmo assim, essas meninas mantiveram a cabeça erguida, apesar de tanta pressão. Representar uma nação inteira apaixonada por vôlei não é uma tarefa fácil, e ainda assim elas entram em campo com total entusiasmo para trazer glória e honra ao Brasil. Vivemos em um mundo livre e democrático, e todos têm direito à sua própria opinião, mas também devemos aprender a compreender plenamente os sacrifícios que essas meninas fazem cada vez que lutam pelo Brasil. É fácil para todos dizerem essas coisas porque ninguém vê os bastidores como eu, pois vi com meus próprios olhos e tive a oportunidade de conhecê-las também fora das quadras de vôlei. Sejamos gentis uns com os outros. Afinal, somos torcedores da seleção acima de tudo, porque um verdadeiro torcedor conhece a vitória e a derrota e permanece torcedor independentemente do resultado.

Sério? Você é mesmo brasileira? Em primeiro lugar, aprenda a valorizar e ser grata por esse grupo de meninas que se esforçou tanto para chegar à final, mesmo sem a Gabi, a JuKu, a Nyeme e a Tainara. Todo mundo dizia que nem passaríamos das quartas de final porque não tínhamos a Gabi, a JuKu, a Nyeme e a Tainara, mas essas meninas deram tudo de si nos jogos contra o Japão e a Itália. Aprenda a pelo menos reconhecer o mérito delas, pois mesmo sem a Gabi, a JuKu, a Nyeme e a Tainara, elas conseguiram vencer o Japão e a Itália.
