Matpac Wrestling Club, a North Dakota nonprofit wrestling program, grew from $109,669 in revenue in 2017 to $3,689,540 in FY2024 through charitable gambling, with slot-style electronic pull-tab machines helping fund the club.
The proceeds support wrestling expenses like travel, gear, coaches, training, and more. The club also now holds nearly $10 million in assets.
It is an unconventional model for a wrestling club, but the results are hard to ignore.
Did not have this headline on my bingo card for today….interestingly looks like Seth Gross reps this club?
This is a certainly different way to raise funds in today’s world! https://t.co/B7lV9CkfhA
