It is very sad to inform that my TVS Ronin bike which I purchased just 2 months ago which has manufacturing of Dec-2025 has lots of Rusting and can been seen through naked eyes and paint comes of paying, almost 2 lacs for top model and in returned got this??!

The main reason behind this can be human error while mentioning house numbers. If someone has house number 321 but due to some typo if someone enters 213 then this type of scenario occurs. They are valid voters but this type of error can be there.

Serious allegations of irregularities have surfaced on the eve of polling, with claims of multiple voter entries at the same address in New Guwahati.

Discrepancies have been reported in the voter list of Ward No. 37, where an unusually high number of voters have been registered under a single address. At House No. 33, while the actual number of residents eligible to vote is four, as many as 16 voters have reportedly been listed.

The allegation was raised by a woman identified as Nilakshi Sarma, who also uploaded a video on social media highlighting the issue.

She has urged the @ECISVEEP to take immediate action and investigate the matter

Those who are attacking me for my remarks on “Miyan”—a word used in Assam in the context of Bangladeshi Muslim illegal migration—should pause and read what the Supreme Court of India itself has said about Assam. This is not my language, not my imagination, and not political exaggeration. These are the Court’s own words:

“The silent and invidious demographic invasion of Assam may result in the loss of the geostrategically vital districts of lower Assam… The influx of illegal migrants is turning these districts into a Muslim majority region… It will then only be a matter of time when a demand for their merger with Bangladesh may be made… Loss of lower Assam will sever the entire land mass of the North East from the rest of India and the rich natural resources of that region will be lost to the Nation.”

When the highest constitutional court of the country uses words like “demographic invasion” and warns of the possible loss of territory and national unity, acknowledging that reality is neither hatred nor communalism, nor is it an attack on any community. It is a recognition of a grave and long-standing problem that Assam has lived with for decades.

Our effort is not against any religion or any Indian citizen. Our effort is to protect Assam’s identity, security, and future, exactly as the Supreme Court cautioned the nation to do. Ignoring that warning would be the real injustice—to Assam and to India.

A 4K restored version of Arundhati Roy’s cult 1989 film In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones will be screened at the 2026 Berlin Film Festival as part of the Berlinale Classics segment. The film, penned by the Booker Prize-winning author and co-starring her alongside a young Shah Rukh Khan and Manoj Bajpayee, was directed by her then-husband Pradip Krishen, who will attend the festival with Roy.

Set in a Delhi architecture school in the mid-1970s, the film is a whimsical campus comedy that captures student life, humour, and social observation. It follows Anand Grover, nicknamed Annie, a misguided visionary whose antics land him in trouble with the strict principal. Inspired by Roy’s own experiences at the School of Planning and Architecture, the movie gained cult status for its inventive mix of Hindi and English, relatable characters, and irreverent tone.

Originally made for Doordarshan, the film won two National Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Feature Film in English. The 4K restoration, by Film Heritage Foundation in collaboration with NFDC, NFAI, and Krishen, used the original 16 mm negatives and 35 mm prints to bring renewed clarity to this iconic work. Festival organisers noted Berlinale Classics 2026 features one of its most ambitious line-ups, spanning from silent-era cinema to mid-1990s films.

This screening marks the Film Heritage Foundation’s debut at the prestigious festival.
