@mutta_b0nda @DeepakVisva Capitaion fees is about demand and supply situation. NEET has reduced the capitation somewhat as the target audience has been reduced from 12th Pass to NEET pass. It does put up a minimum qualification criteria for MBBS admission, no need to compare with other exams like JEE.

@megarajan @DeepakVisva They do, but atleast they have to get pass marks in NEET exam. In the pre NEET era even that was not needed just a pass in 10+2 format is enough.

@DeepakVisva Those are one-off exemptions for unfilled seats, not everyone with 0 got a seat, unfair yes(some got lucky that year). We had Dayanidhi Maran openly saying he could not get a MBBS seat for his daughter(read as she could not pass NEET), in pre NEET era he would bought a seat.

@behindwoods If you study in Uzbekistan, you cannot practice in India, unless you clear a test here. The pass % of the test is around 20 to 30%, what happens to the remaining 70% of the students?
