hirap maging babae imagine dinudugo ka tapos nagkasakit ka as a side effect tapos sore buong katawan mo tapos yung mundo ieexpect ka na mag function the same way ugh !
Consumers aren't asking for free electricity. They're asking to pay only for what they actually use. When operational losses become part of every electric bill, it can feel like ordinary Filipinos are being made to finance risks that belong to the utility, not the household.
🚨🎙️Eminem on BTS reportedly choosing not to submit a song for Grammy consideration:
"Good. I respect it. I've been saying for years that artists don't need a gold trophy to prove they're great. If BTS decided they don't need the Grammys, it's because they've already built one of the biggest fanbases in the world. The Grammys don't define greatness, they never have."
"Now, look at someone like Nicki Minaj. Whether you love her or not, her impact on hip-hop is undeniable, yet she's never won a Grammy, then look at Beyonce, she's good but not all that and yet she has the most Grammys?. It goes on to show why people keep questioning the system. It feels like industry politics and behind-the-scenes influence matter more than the music. That's why more artists are realizing they don't need the Grammys, the Grammys need them."
I don't think people fully understand the magnitude of this decision.
Some of the music industry's most respected producers, writers, engineers, and creatives worked on ARIRANG. A project built to the highest artistic standard. One producer even spoke publicly about hoping the album would receive Grammy recognition.
Then the Recording Academy introduced a category specifically for Asian pop.
And BTS chose not to submit.
Think about that. The biggest musical project of the year. One of the strongest commercial and artistic contenders. A project that could have competed across multiple major categories. It simply won't be in the race because the artists chose principle over prestige.
Moves like this don't happen often. When artists at BTS' level willingly walk away from the biggest stage in music, the conversation shifts because of what they refused to endorse.
The Romualdezes, Marcoses and Dutertes are literally selling Philippines bit by bit while distracting us with all their dramas.
Philippines is so rich yet its treasures are so misused and abused.
Rich in natural resources, beauty, people and CRIMINALS.
Nakakaiyak. Nakakainis.
If you think the people in our government cares about the environment, Gina Lopez was kicked out from being the DENR secretary by 16 over 8 votes against her.
Within 10 months in her post, she closed 23 mining operations, banned open-pit mining and shut down half of the country's mining companies.
Unfortunately, members of the congressional committee decided to remove her, as some of the 16 members who voted are connected on the mining industry, which explains why most of mining operations resumed after Gina Lopez got fired.
This is one of the most disgusting examples of our politicians prioritizing their personal interest over environmental welfare.
If only Ma’am Gina Lopez were still here, ano kaya ang magiging situation ng environment natin ngayon? Baka mas marami pa sanang lugar ang naprotektahan, mas mahigpit ang laban para sa kalikasan, at mas may boses ang mga komunidad na naaapektuhan.
About Pax Silica:
This is about a US-led tech hub generating semi conductors and AI facilities using OUR resources in New Clark City.
This facility is as big as 1.6k hectares (the size of 38 MOAs). AI facilities can drain our Luzon elec resources and consume millions of water
If Pax Silica pushes through, the consequences for Luzon's water could be catastrophic. No corporation should be allowed to gamble with a resource millions depend on. Profit should never outweigh people's right to water. Fuck greed. Gising na, Pilipinas. 😭
FAST FACTS ON PAX SILICA
Pax Silica is a proposed joint project between the Philippines and the United States, envisioned as the local version of Silicon Valley.
Despite promises of innovation and jobs, critics warn of the project’s possible effect on the environment, food, and water supply in host communities.
