This is frustrating as hell, but it's not quite "robbing us blind." Airline prices swing like crazy depending on dates, demand, and when you book. That $2k Southwest fare might be peak holiday or last-minute pricing—same route is often $500-800 roundtrip on normal days. Elliott pushed Southwest to stop leaving money on the table with the old free bags + open seating model while competitors were charging for everything. Assigned seats and bag fees suck for loyal flyers, but it's how the rest of the industry works now. AA beating them on First Class just shows you gotta shop around. Capitalism gonna capitalist.

This guy was Special Forces — he had the actual classified timeline and inside details of the raid, not just public news. It’s like if you worked at Apple and knew the exact secret launch date for the next iPhone from internal meetings. You couldn’t just go bet $30k on Polymarket that it drops on that day and walk away with $400k. That’s insider info. Same principle here. Soldiers with secrets can’t treat military ops like personal stock tips.

Congress insider trading is straight bullshit — they write the laws to protect themselves and get away with it every day. Term limits are part of the fix. I already said that. But if we let this Special Forces soldier slide for using classified intel from an actual military op to turn $33k into $400k on Polymarket, we’re opening Pandora’s box. Next it’s guys betting against their own missions, sandbagging ops for profit, or straight-up selling secrets.
Fix Congress for sure. But don’t normalize this

I get the hypocrisy with Congress insider trading nonstop and nothing ever happens. That part’s bullshit. But this soldier had classified info on an actual military op and turned it into $400k on Polymarket. If we say that’s fine, what’s next — betting on troop movements or selling intel for profit? Hero or not, you can’t let classified stuff become a personal stock tip. Fix Congress too, but don’t open that door.

Feels like the diplomats on their side aren't the ones really running things. The IRGC hardliners with the actual weapons and missiles keep shooting it down. Pakistan's trying to mediate but the messages keep getting twisted.Trump's playing it tough and optimistic on purpose — like he's pulling that old "madman theory" move, acting unpredictable as hell so Iran thinks he might snap and go all the way. Smart tactic to force their hand? Maybe. But with Iran this split inside, it's risky as hell. Hope the back channels sort it out before things blow up again.
