Since being involved in politics over the past few years, I have met hundreds of political figures, but there are a certain few than truly stand out to me as formative in my political engagement.

One of those people is @C_Mulroney, who just today announced her resignation from Ontario politics.

Since 2021, I have conducted about 250 interviews, and while many stand out, my conversation with Caroline Mulroney in 2023 remains one of my favourites, and one that I still feel incredibly honoured to have been able to do.

Caroline Mulroney has been a political icon of mine for so long, as her father was too, so getting to sit down with her for a conversation remains one of the greatest honours in my years of political engagement.

In 2024, I had the chance to meet Caroline in person at Queen’s Park and she was just as gracious and kind as I expected. I was walking past her in the hall, unsure whether to stop her or not, but she recognized me from our interview and stopped to chat!

Thank you, Caroline, for your service to Ontario, and I wish you all the best in your next chapter!

Bill C-225 (Bailey’s Law) just passed at third reading and is now on its way to the Senate!

I am hopeful that this bill will continue to move forward and ultimately become law.

I want to recognize Bailey’s family, as well as all victims of intimate partner violence; we hear you, and this is for you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Today, I'm wearing a special sweater I got custom made in honour of the iconic 1985 Shamrock Summit, where PM Mulroney and President Reagan came together and sang "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling."
