When we consider the character of the Savior we tend to focus immediately on His attributes, such as virtue, integrity, humility, compassion, and courage, but we should also consider, what is it in Jesus that gives rise to such character traits?
I believe they are the natural fruit of the thoughts, desires, and intents of His heart.
Christlike character grows out of a Christlike heart.
Thus, if we are to succeed in developing a Christlike character, we must possess His motivations—His thoughts, desires, and intents of the heart. For us, it will require what the scriptures call a “mighty change of heart.”
Jesus thinks and acts out of pure love; He yearns to bless and lift others; and He delights to do the will of God.
With faith in Christ, we can pray that the Holy Spirit will effect a mighty change in us to instill these same divine motivations in our heart and help us practice the attributes of a Christlike character. #GeneralConference

Nearly 2,000 years ago, a small group of women rose while it was still dark and made their way towards the tomb where the body of their beloved Lord, Jesus Christ, had been laid to rest.
Despite grief, fear, and unanswered questions, they encountered the empty tomb and learned for themselves the glorious truth of His Resurrection.
These few women became the world’s first witnesses of the single greatest event in the history of the world.
We must all do the same.
We must encounter the empty tomb, experience the reality of what it means and, in turn, share that witness with others.
No, we were not with Mary on that blessed Easter morning. We did not see what she and the other women saw. But we can ask ourselves: what have we seen, felt, or experienced?
Shall we not, therefore, become witnesses of Jesus Christ? Shall we not share our love for Him with others?
My dear friends, on this holy Easter morning, I offer my witness:
He is risen.

Truly, Jesus Christ is the way to peace in this world, and eternal life in the world to come. He knows and loves each of us perfectly, and invites us to walk with Him, abide in Him, and follow His example of ministering to others one by one in charity and love.
We have been reminded of the central role of marriage and families in our Heavenly Father’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children. May we demonstrate the pure love of Christ in our families, in our communities, and in all of our interactions with God’s children.

This Easter Sunday, Christians across our nation and around the world celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ—His triumph over sin and death brings redemption, hope, and eternal life.
He is risen. Happy Easter!
When 12-year-old Jesus was found by His parents teaching in the temple, He told them that He had been “about [His] Father’s business” (Luke 2:49).
And we can be too. Every calling, whatever it may be, is “His business” when embraced with a humble and willing heart and a desire to lift and comfort His children and to share His good news.
President Dallin H. Oaks has provided us with a wonderful example of what it means to be about our Father’s business. Today we had the sacred opportunity to come together to raise our hands in support of President Oaks, to sustain him as the Lord’s prophet, seer, and revelator.
We have signified our willingness to uphold President Oaks by our confidence, faith, and prayers.
While today is certainly solemn in purpose, it is also a day full of gratitude and rejoicing at the opportunity for the whole Church to come together and exercise common consent.
Life is better, everything is better, when we are about His business. I pray that on this day when we sustain our prophet and president you will find great joy as you also rededicate yourself to the Saviour’s ministry.

We believe in Jesus Christ. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we worship Him and follow His teachings in the scriptures. We can hear Him through studying the words He spoke. #GeneralConference

The Savior loves all of us and is tenderly calling for you and for me to “Come home.”
Feeling we don’t belong, struggling with doubts, or being limited by traditions are just a few of the reasons we don’t immediately find our way home. But even as societal pressures pull people away from faith, life’s deeper questions don’t go away.
Only Jesus Christ can fully restore that light and joy into your life. We all struggle and need patience, service, and love from each other. To those who are trying to help, hold on to truth and keep your covenants. To those who are struggling, know you are loved and the Savior is calling you home.
I witness that Christ is our Redeemer. When we fall short, He repairs the breaches in our lives. The Savior loves all of us and is tenderly calling for you and for me to come home. Come home. #GeneralConference
He died for us so that we could be redeemed. What a Good Friday indeed. There is no greater love than Christ's willing sacrifice for us! As we use Good Friday to remember Jesus Christ, how will you follow His example of love?
Enduring to the end is not merely a relentless determination to grit our teeth, hold on to the limits of our physical strength and mental capacity, and push through the challenges and adversities of mortal life; it is so much more than that.
Enduring to the end is linked inextricably to the spiritual gift of charity, or the pure love of Christ. As we are blessed to receive this supernal gift, a transformation occurs in our spiritual nature and character. Charity encompasses both what we do and what we can become as this spiritual gift ultimately possesses us.
As we follow, love, and serve the Savior, we gradually focus less on our own desires and interests, and more on understanding and addressing the needs of others. We do not merely perform benevolent deeds; rather, our state of being is changed and becomes increasingly Christlike. Charity, then, ultimately possesses us.
The scriptural phrase “endure to the end” is a repeated reminder of the mighty spiritual change in our hearts that should be ongoing throughout our lives; it also is His promise of what we may become if we truly are possessed of the pure love of Christ. #GeneralConference
He is risen! And because Christ rose again, we will too. Thanks to Him, no pain, fear, failure, or unfairness is permanent. This is greater love. This is Easter.
I find it very comical and interesting how all the critics of the church, when they dump on it and share how incredibly false or bad it is, never use the church’s full name. They only use the acronyms or nick names.
Are you afraid to use the name of the church because it has His name in it.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
Yep, that’s right! It’s His church.
I state this unequivocally.
It’s His church.
I’ll just say it:
The LDS Church is absolutely and unequivocally true.
Study anything you want. I have, and the truth is all there.
More importantly, pray and ask God what is true.
I love this clip of this interview. When ministering to people, we need to do this:
Oh, Clark. I’ve known long before you showed up. And I’ll be in their lives long after you leave. And if you want to bless them, you need to figure out what I’m already trying to do in their lives.
With so much fuss by a minority of people about the beliefs regarding the Savior Jesus Christ as held by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I've began to compile a list of our beliefs about Jesus Christ. Anyone who claims we believe differently, doesn't know our beliefs. Every single item on this list comes from https://t.co/wkwlvZcmkJ, the Church's official website.
Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, the Son of Heavenly Father, and the Redeemer; He is the only way to return to live with Heavenly Father.
He suffered and was crucified for the sins of the world, offering the gift of repentance and forgiveness; only by His mercy and grace can anyone be saved.
His Resurrection prepared the way for every person to overcome physical death; these events constitute His Atonement, by which He saves us from sin and death.
In the future, He will return to reign on earth in peace for a thousand years and will be our Lord forever.
He is the Son of God, and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worship God the Eternal Father in His name.
The fundamental principles of the religion center on the testimony of apostles and prophets concerning Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven; all other things are appendages to these.
Jesus is the Living Christ, the immortal Son of God; His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come.
He was the Great Jehovah of the Old Testament, the Messiah of the New Testament, and under the direction of His Father, the creator of the earth.
Though sinless, He was baptized to fulfill all righteousness; He went about doing good, taught truths of eternity including premortal existence, the purpose of life on earth, and potential in the life to come.
He instituted the sacrament as a reminder of His atoning sacrifice, was arrested and condemned on spurious charges, and gave His life to atone for the sins of all mankind.
His life began before Bethlehem and continued beyond Calvary; He was the Firstborn of the Father, the Only Begotten Son in the flesh, the Redeemer of the world.
He rose from the grave as the firstfruits of them that slept, visited those He had loved in life, ministered among His other sheep in ancient America, and appeared to Joseph Smith, ushering in the dispensation of the fulness of times.
By Him, through Him, and of Him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
His priesthood and Church have been restored upon the earth, built upon the foundation of apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ as the chief corner stone.
He will someday return to earth, rule as King of Kings and reign as Lord of Lords, and every knee shall bend and every tongue shall speak in worship before Him; each person will stand to be judged by Him according to their works and desires of the heart.
He is the great King Immanuel, who stands on the right hand of His Father; He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world.
As Mary Magdalene and her companions mournfully approached the Garden Tomb, two angels appeared to them and shared the clarion call of all Christianity:
"Why seek ye the living among the dead?"
"He is not here, but is risen" (Luke 24:5-6).
This Easter season we also joyfully testify of this same eternal truth—Jesus Christ is risen. He lives!
The Savior of the world was crucified and, on the third day, rose from the dead, "the firstfruits of them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20). His Resurrection allows all to be resurrected, and through His grace, we can find peace "which passeth all understanding" (Philippians 4:7) and "be perfected in him" (Moroni 10:32).
We invite each of you during this Easter season to "seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written" (Ether 12:41). As you do so, we testify that your Easter celebrations can strengthen your own faith and testimony that "death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory" ("He Is Risen!" Hymns, no. 199).
