For years I have been sharing daily the many lessons trading has taught me with a focus on the psychological aspects that hold many traders back from success.
I have been amazed at the great collaboration and the many relationships that have developed over the years within the trading community.
Many of my followers have encouraged me to write a book sharing my lessons. This has always been a dream of mine and your support, encouragement and collaboration have given me the confidence to write it.
Today I am excited to announce my first book, “The Trader’s Journey”, is now available for pre-order. I am proud to share that the book will be published by Harriman House this coming February.
Unlike most trading books that only show the “perfect” side of trading, “The Trader’s Journey” takes an honest, no-nonsense look at the real struggles traders face and how to navigate them. It starts with a hard truth about what trading truly requires, then walks through the critical components of long-term success.
Thank you all for helping to make this dream come true.

🧠 The Real Edge in Trading
Learning charts builds skill.
Following rules builds wealth.
Charts and technicals are easy to learn discipline is not.
What truly separates consistent traders from impulsive ones is not their knowledge of patterns, indicators, or setups it’s their ability to:
Stay focused on charts during both winning and losing phases.
Follow rules with no compromise.
Manage position sizing within pain tolerance.
Respect risk even when confidence is high.
“A pro trader thinks in terms of risk and protects capital first. A novice thinks only of rewards and forgets that unprotected trades can wipe out accounts.”
“Most people enter trading seeking more, more money, more freedom, more excitement.
It’s the craving for ‘more’ that drives them, and that very greed becomes their undoing.
But in trading, less is more.
The majority chase excess, and the majority lose.
Clarity of purpose must come first. Know why you’re trading.
Then shift your mindset focus on less with consistency.
Because in trading, it’s not the intensity but the sustainability that creates long-term success.”
Most of us become chart experts by studying past price action and using that knowledge to predict future market movements. But to truly grow as a trader, I suggest taking it a step further: start recording your entries and exits along with the emotions you experienced at those moments directly on the chart.
Review these annotated charts periodically. This practice will help you gain deeper insights into your own behavior and emotional patterns. Over time, you’ll begin to recognize how your emotions influence your decisions and that awareness will empower you to trade with greater clarity, discipline, and confidence.
Even with a low win rate, you can be profitable if your reward-to-risk ratio is high enough.
