The sunshine today was warm and bright, and I walked onto the court full of anticipation. The tennis racket in my hand is a new one I just bought recently, and holding it makes me feel much more confident. There weren’t many people on the court, and the air carried a light scent of grass and earth. I pulled up my sleeves, warmed up, and started practicing my serves. Although my movements aren’t very smooth yet, every swing lets me feel the blend of strength and focus. Every now and then, when I hit a really nice shot, I can’t help but cheer for myself, like giving myself a little reward. The rhythm of tennis draws me in completely, and with each swing, it feels like all my worries fade away.
