After a ton of hard work and coordination, the Volusia Family Resource Center is open at 3747 W. International Speedway Blvd. in Daytona Beach!
This facility has been a vision of @SheriffChitwood since he was Daytona's police chief.

This week, Deputy Mendoza dropped off 300 autism seatbelt covers for kids at Easterseals in Daytona Beach.

In partnership with the @vsy_foundation, these let first responders know if someone in the vehicle may resist help or not always respond to verbal requests.

A deputy was injured this morning in a traffic crash on Saxon Blvd near Merrimac Lane, Deltona. He's been transported to the hospital as a trauma alert. @SheriffChitwood is on his way to the hospital and we will post updates when we can. Pull for a full & fast recovery please!

Just can't help but feel ashamed that another victim reported him in 2019 & 2020 but was discredited by her own family.

The Air One crew joined @AdventHealth yesterday for a medical trauma training and orientation event for recently hired nurses and staff. Thank you all for everything you do to treat injuries and save lives!
