I've heard the same thing too, and it's a little frustrating but also flattering.
There's been a bunch of imposter "Buttcoin" tokens, each one ripping off my name and my logo that I created back in 2011 (copyright and trademark pending btw).
They talked about the lore, about the history but they had none. Because they weren't the actual creator.
They didn't create the comedy/news blog that became so popular the largest crypto mining hardware company bought them to remove negative press. They didn't create the Twitter or the Subreddit back in 2011, which has nearly a quarter million members.
I've pushed off endless "claim fees bro" and "how much to post a CA" DMs because I took one look at their lore and it was either wrong or paper thin. They wanted my name but didn't want to actually run a real project.
Which is flattering, in a way. You're so embedded in the early Bitcoin culture that just your name with no backing can launch a coin and make some money.
So in January 2026 I decided if this was going to keep happening I might as well do it the right way. And now we're the most successful "Buttcoin" to launch, in one of the worst markets ever, and still holding as strong or better than any other token launched this year. That's pretty damn impressive.
So while yes, "Buttcoin" has been done before, those were all fakes, phonies and copies of the OG Memecoin.
And now you have the privilege to finally buy the real deal $Buttcoin today.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

If you're sick of chasing new pairs, if you're looking a long established community with a solid, historical foundation, why not look at the coin that:
- Has the longest crypto meme lineage of any coin on pumpfun, ever.
- Existed years before dogecoin.
- Has the original dev backing and running the project
- Only one of two coins, along with Dogecoin, that has been mentioned in official government documentation
- Has a community who refuses to sell until 10k Buttcoin = 1 BTC
- Is the only direct derivative of Bitcoin itself
- Is the only memecoin with broad, retail appeal that doesn't need a wiki page to explain.
That's $Buttcoin. Not a copy, not a trend, the first memecoin, a direct descendent of Bitcoin itself. Born in 2011 and brought to life in 2026.
