@AmegaStace76524@ImYouthSoccer@ImCollegeSoccer I’d love to see real conversation and education of players and parents to help them be as prepared as possible for the real demands of the game at this level and beyond.
@AmegaStace76524@ImYouthSoccer@ImCollegeSoccer Will be less likely to find what they are looking for vs the past. The best ones are sorted as always between top teams and Next Pro but then there is a large group of players without the type of options they want or could have expected in the past.
@ImYouthSoccer@ImCollegeSoccer For sure, the higher levels will always be focused on more and can help to sharpen players in higher level competitions. Only thing I would say and I’ll leave you to it is to warn not to take the focus away from what makes a player better while chasing initials and other leagues
@ImYouthSoccer@ImCollegeSoccer Not attacking what your account does, just pointing out where a player and their family should focus. Getting better everyday and seeking to understand how they can be their best version is something that will work for them throughout their lives not just in a college search.
@ImYouthSoccer@ImCollegeSoccer I’m the men’s coach and merely trying to give parents and players who follow these accounts the perspective from the people who try and help the players when they arrive to a much higher level overcome all the habits they have built over long youth careers that don’t translate
@ImYouthSoccer@ImCollegeSoccer Pardon some of the typos, I was killing time here between calls, but this is an area that I have a ton of experience with and I’d love to see discussed more broadly.
@ImYouthSoccer@ImCollegeSoccer Players can be successful with what they are doing now instead of what will be required for success at the level they aspire to play in. I’d like to see more attention given to that reality as opposed to the “marketing or exposure of where a player is currently”
