கடந்த 25 ஆண்டுகளாக தன்னலமற்ற சேவையை முன்னெடுத்து வரும் அக்ஷயா டிரஸ்ட், சென்னையில் செயல்பட்டு வரும் 6 இலவச முதியோர் இல்லங்கள் மற்றும் காஞ்சிபுரம் – ஆற்பாக்கத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள ஒரு இலவச முதியோர் இல்லம் மூலம், 400 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஆதரவற்ற மூத்த குடிமக்களுக்க��� அடைக்கலம் மற்றும் அத்தியாவசிய ஆதரவுகளை வழங்கி வருகிறது.

மேலும், அறக்கட்டளையின் கீழ் செயல்பட்டு வரும் முற்றிலும் இலவசமான ஆங்கில வழி பள்ளிக்கூடம் மூலம், பொருளாதார வசதியற்ற சுமார் 250 மாணவர்களுக்கு கல்வி வாய்ப்பும் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
