“Well yea, I twigged me mate was dodgy like, what wiv ‘im bein’ a nicked paedo an everythin’ but he was ‘avin a booze night and mates are mates, show a bit’a loyalty like, so I went round, young birds an’ stuff but I never saw nuffin’ wrong and now there’s all this..?”
Andrew
We just saw a Prime Minister on Marr and his name is Jeremy Corbyn. Displaying the confident, serious and knowledgeable leadership this country needs. @AndrewMarr9
Boris Johnson is now gambling his entire campaign of lies, spin & deliberate misrepresentation of facts on the premise he believes we are all idiots or will have suffered collective amnesia
Clement Attlee introduced the Welfare State, NHS, Child benefit, Nationalised Rail, Provided free Secondary Schooling, Instigated the largest housing programme and enabled full employment.
We were supposedly broke after WW2.
Tories think we can't afford Broadband....Yeah right !
@BBCNews@BBCPolitics Pure rubbish the bbc was covering up for the mess Johnson made of it and this is why the bbc can no longer be trusted, shameful and disgusting, stop trying to take us the public for idiots
Today’s Poll:
Regardless of your political persuasion, do you think Labour’s plan for free nationwide super-fast broadband is a good idea?
Please vote and retweet for a wide sample. #BroadbandForAll#GE2019
@BBCPolitics@BBCRadio4 There really are some stupid replys on here, it's not like it isn't already working great in other countries, take your heads out of the sands, stop listening to the bullshit from the Tory media and do your own research in how it's working in Japan for a start
@BBCPolitics This just shows why bbc politics needs doing away with, people can no longer trust the bbc to be impartial, they are proving themselves day in,day out to be the mouthpiece of the Tory party, it's got to stop or people truly need to stop buying the tv licence
Johnson is calling our free superfast broadband plan a “crazed Communist scheme”.
Apparently Lenin and Stalin often chatted in the same WhatsApp group and Castro had Ocado deliver the groceries every Tuesday...
Johnson is rattled. #GE2019
Let’s be honest, Labour’s brilliant #BroadbandForAll policy has landed a massive blow on Boris Johnson today.
It came out of nowhere, they didn’t get a sniff of it. Now they don’t know how to construct a sensible response.
Big win for Corbyn today, and there’s more to come.
We will deliver free full-fibre broadband to everybody, in tranches, and we'll begin with those currently experiencing the worst quality broadband. As I said in my speech today, it's coming to Lancaster, the North West and elsewhere.
We'll make the very fastest broadband free for all.
Instead of you forking out for your monthly bill, we’ll make sure the tech giants like Amazon, Facebook and Google pay their fair share in tax.
That's real change.
The idea that the tech giants should pay their taxes to fund the broadband service that provides their profit is brilliant in its simplicity.
Labour are looking much more like The Jetsons compared to the Conservatives Flintstones. Forward thinking 21st century policies.
Sajid Javid is running scared of debating with me and completely understandably, as the Tories are inventing silly figures which Labour would pull apart in a public debate.
Clearly the Tories can’t even cost their own programme.
The Conservatives don’t have any policies for change because they don’t think anything needs fixing.
Long wait for a doctor? Get private healthcare
Local school failing? Send the kids to a private one
Struggling to make ends meet? Get a better job.
Your problems aren’t theirs.
Last year it was revealed that Boots were charging the NHS over £3,000 for a cancer relieving mouthwash - that normally sells for £93. This is the same Boots, registered in the US, that doesn't even have to make their tax affairs public.
It’s time for real change.
Can you imagine if Jeremy Corbyn was at the cenotaph, looking like he’d had a fight with a Flymo, walking at the wrong time and laying down a wreath the wrong way up?
The right-wing media would tell you it’s damning proof of his awfulness.
But Johnson? He gets a free pass.
