@eurofounder You should have purchased health insurance coverage for your trip here. I'm aware of the differences as my wife has universal coverage in addition to health insurance coverage in the United States.
@money_cruncher Peace of mind and bad servicing companies that "lose your payment" and give you late fees. We paid off the mortgage in 12 years and our savings rate then went to 38%.
@MelMattison1 I've had a million in cancer treatment costs, the vast majority covered by health insurance. Do you know what good health insurance costs to cover you in case you have an expensive disease? Anyone who actually has a million dollars knows that it isn't enough.
@Eman_8282 We always clear the table ourselves. The staff may wipe it down along with other tables later on but that's about the limit of the service they provide.
@DanCollins2011 I had a root canal recently and the dentist walked out after diagnosis and a finance person walked in to discuss payment options. I've never run into that before but it's probably been around for a while. I wrote a check for the full amount.
@MalditaSummer I prefer e-books as you have flexibility of devices and you can adjust the font depending on how tired you are or how well your eyes are doing on a particular day. It's a lot easier to carry a bunch on a trip too.
@Notwokenow Our water bill when we moved here was about $60 a year. 8 years ago it was $20 and then doubled to $40 a month. The reason was the town added filtration for PFAS and other stuff and it was a huge capital upgrade. I think that you need population density to keep costs down.
@nickimoraa I'm disabled so I reserve a seat. If someone says I don't look disabled, I show them but it grosses most people out. I have a hole in my abdomen and an organ sticking out into a bag. If traveling with family, I book one or two rows.
