@MichaelDell I’ve thought about this often, how at one time there dozens and dozens of early PC companies, serving hobbyists, and it was impossible to predict which couple of them would turn into a behemoth.
@alt_w_v_g With that expenditure of time, you might have been able to fix it yourself, with the help of YouTube and original replacement parts. It’s as much about the personal satisfaction as the money saved.
@Vanguard_Group You’ve been banging this drum for decades. And I’ve listened to you, allocating 25% of my equity to international funds. After about 30 years, it has only reduced my equity returns. I guess if you keep saying it, *someday*, by chance, you’ll be right.
@awealthofcs@scottianrick My younger self could never have imagined having over saved or under spent in retirement. Yet 8 years into retirement we have 20% more than the day we retired. Not counting house appreciation, and haven’t claimed SS yet. 🤷♂️

@Vanguard_Group You don’t need my personal info to have a 24-hr security hotline open for customers under attack at night or on weekends. But you’re apparently just a bot, so I’m the fool for continuing to try to explain my complaint.
@Vanguard_Group It’s not an account specific question Skyler. It’s a general complaint that when one of your customers are under attack outside M-F 8-8 and are fearful of losing all their assets, Vanguard won’t help.
