It's just that in the countries like US there are many retailer who directly order it from the respective company. In India there is monopoly of single distributor.

It is actually outrageous that they are refusing to even communicate. that's why I am assuming there could be some terms mentioned in their contracts. but I will be on players side as data privacy is utmost and they should explain the terms of usage.

If they are the player union like you are saying they should get it sorted. And I hope they do. only thing they cant negotiate right now is stated and agreed terms by the both parties.

If it wasn't in the contract at all. orgs can straight up refuse it without consequences. I hope situation will be clear in few days and we will know what exactly happened. (2/2)

How those recordings are going to be utilized then orgs cant do anything about it. and holding the event hostage can result in lawsuits. (1/2)

@norgeeek Btw, I'm talking about pc platform. Physical edition for pc doesn't have disk. It only has digital code which you have to register on GOG and download the whole 60gb game through the cloud. Good thing we are getting some goodies with it. At least thats there to not feel sad about

@norgeeek Yes, It is included in physical copy. Apparently some retailers in some regions has already delivered them prior to launch so people who got them have preloaded it. But most of us are gonna receive it on release date itself or even later. So we can't preload it.

Cyberpunk 2077 physical edition for PC doesn't have disk it has a gog code. CDPR and even on this tweet many people have mentioned the same.

@SarielGoddess @CyberpunkGame Some retailers from some regions have already started to deliver physical editions for pc. And as I mentioned somewhere above in a reply I spoke with both the retailer I ordered from and GOG support. And GOG support took the responsibility of restricting deliveries in my region.

@wbarnes1989 @CyberpunkGame Game can not be until release date anyhow. But game nowadays have preload functions so you can download them prior to the release and them download a minor update to make it playable on release date.
