@MelkeyDev with structured specs and plan mode, the sweet spot seems be to at 500k tokens. After that everything seems to be degraded- it starts acting like opus 4.4. I am able to get over this by using subagents excessively though
the claude code hack has unlocked a hidden achievement: 10,000 developers who have never touched a sourcemap in their lives now have Very Strong Opinions about sourcemaps
We’re now at this point:
Each time I hand draft an email in Gmail or edit a spreadsheet directly in Excel, I wonder jf it’s the last time I do it for the rest of my life.
Anthropic spun up 16 Opus 4.6 agents to build a Rust-based C compiler from scratch - and the compiler they produced was able to compile the Linux kernel 🤯
All 16 agents worked in parallel on a shared codebase without active human intervention. No compiler engineers were involved, and the entire effort cost just $20,000 in API usage. That's it!
The "agent team" produced a 100,000-line compiler capable of building Linux 6.9. Absolutely insane.
We are living in incredibly exciting times.
₹50,000 per month. That’s the price allegedly fixed by a Bengaluru ACP to let a hotel operate peacefully.
The officer wasn’t enforcing the law, he was selling it. A classic hafta racket run from inside the police system. When the hotel owner refused to bow down, he went to the Lokayukta with audio proof of the bribe demand. FIR registered. Trap laid.
₹30,000 in cash, the ACP was caught red-handed while collecting it. This is not an isolated case. This is how power is abused daily while honest citizens and businesses are harassed into silence. The real crime isn’t just the bribe. It’s the complete collapse of fear, ethics, and accountability inside law enforcement
This way future development or bug fix to be attempted by any inline AI editor doesnt hallucinate trying to change something which was already tried or was explicitly instructed to not be done already. Spec driven development is way to go!
@kirodotdev has been game changing for me personally in my vibe code journey. Especially when everyone on a team has their own favourite genAI inline tool. It allows other tools/team members to also understand what has been vibe-coded and why it is the way it is.
@hakluke I always had my doubts regarding this when changing my docking stations with different one+cables gave me better zoom call qualities with zero lags during screen share. Will give different hdmi cable a try.
