Meet SriSagar Javvadhi, a Middle Tennessee resident who serves as a supply chain executive leader for the cloud and service providers segment at the North American division of Schneider Electric in Franklin. In his role, Javvadhi manages segment operations. He handles operational alignment, forecasting, and delivery performance across the North American market. His estimated salary is $165,000 a year.

He immigrated in 2010 to the United States from India to obtain a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on electric power systems at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. Following graduation, he transitioned into the American corporate workforce through incentives offered to international students majoring in science, technology, engineering, and math that allow them to remain here for up to 36 months without needing a new visa as part of the optional practical training program. He began working for Schneider Electric under this program, which eventually led to him being sponsored for an H-1B visa.

Schneider Electric’s reliance on imported talent sharply contrasts with its heavy use of public funding. Over the last decade, it has secured more than $7.65 million in Tennessee taxpayer funds alongside reduced utility rates. It also benefits indirectly from public subsidies through local partnerships, such as its recent contract as the official energy management partner for the new Nissan Stadium. While Schneider Electric captures the financial rewards of this deal, Tennessee taxpayers are footing $1.25 billion of the $2.1 billion project.

SriSagar Javvadhi is just one of a vast wave of international students who remain in the U.S. after graduation instead of returning home. According to the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, roughly 74% of all full-time electrical engineering graduate students are international temporary visa holders. The majority of those students eventually join the American workforce.

If his name sounds familiar, it is because his brother, Shreyas Javvadhi, also works for Schneider Electric. He immigrated in 2016 to the U.S. to attend Northern Illinois University and was hired by Schneider Electric shortly thereafter. The Javvadhi brothers do not work in the same division, but their roles closely intersect.

What are the odds two Indian brothers land jobs at the same company across the world? If treated as an entirely random event, the likelihood is 1 in 10 million. Considering that multinational corporations rely on employee referral programs and the prevalence of chain migration, the odds are much more favorable.

The Javvadhi brothers represent a troubling trend of corporations relying on international workforce pipelines that create self-perpetuating networks. This makes it even harder for Americans without existing connections to get their resumes past corporate screening algorithms. In short, Americans are paying for their own replacement through multiple avenues. From publicly funded higher education to multinational corporations receiving tax subsidies, Americans are consistently paying to be kept out of the professional loop while foreigners benefit.

Quick update on the H-1B state contractor analysis and a preview from a small subset of parsed HHSC Contracts.

The most interesting finding (to me) so far:
A single H-1B dependent contractor received payment for $10,460,376.99 in staffing contracts from the state of Texas since Greg Abbott has been in office. In only 12 days of April 2026, they've netted $309,113.
They also received over $2.7M in forgiven PPP loans and approval for at least 35 H-1B workers.
The images below are just a snapshot of recent HHSC state contracts for IT Staffing Augmentation - only one job has a billable rate below $90 an hour.

Also of note - most of the "workers" names I've searched list different employers on LinkedIn than the contractor reporting them as the assigned worker. It almost makes you think that many of these people are either not actually working on these contracts or they can't say they are because their H-1B visa was sponsored by a different employer. However, some also show a location in India - so who knows...

Some of the jobs are not high level positions that could easily be done by American citizens research associates and assistant professors

Is this an American company?

Workforce reality (≈780k–800k total people):

• ≈45% in India (350k+)
• ≈7% in the Philippines
• ≈7–8% in the United States (~7k total perm and H-1Bs since 2024)
• Rest of world: the remaining ~40%, spread thin across 50+ countries

They say they’re American but headquartered in Ireland and have a very Indian (and Philippine) workforce. I don’t see how this contract doesn’t result in massive amounts of capital being extracted from the taxpayer and reallocated globally.

Between April and May 2026, a series of suspiciously timed trades in oil futures markets preceded major Iran war announcements—each tied to reporting by Axios.

On March 23, approximately $500–580 million in shorts were placed 15 minutes before Trump announced he was postponing strikes on Iran. Oil dropped.

On April 7, roughly $950–960 million in shorts were placed hours before Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran. Oil fell around 15 percent.

On April 17, around $760 million in shorts were placed 20 minutes before Iran's foreign minister announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Oil dropped.

On April 21, approximately $430 million in shorts were placed 15 minutes before Trump extended the ceasefire. Oil dropped again.

On May 6, nearly $920 million to $1.7 billion in crude oil shorts were placed approximately 70 minutes before an Axios scoop claimed the U.S. and Iran were near a "14-point agreement." Oil dropped 12 percent. Traders made an estimated $125 million. Iran called the report "the Americans' wish list."

Previously, a senior Iranian official told investigative outlet Drop Site News that Tehran privately warned JD Vance during Switzerland talks that Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff were "abusing" negotiations—"more interested in exploiting insider knowledge to profit in financial markets than reaching a deal."
