Children at St. Joseph's in Bishop's Stortford have been loving 'free writing' time, where they get to write for pleasure in their journals.
These children have even worked together to plan, write and publish a graphic novel series titled, 'Bolt Cat'! They were so proud of their writing that they chose to have them published professionally and are now available for other children to read and enjoy! 😍

Until they ditch, #MakeTheSwitch
When teaching slavery, try to replace the term ‘slave’ with Enslaved Africans. Using the term Enslaved Africans provides more of an identity and reinforces that their culture, identity etc was stolen and robbed.
