HOW TO LOCK YOUR PHONE REMOTELY IF IT GETS STOLEN
You know how Easy-Buy can lock your phone without calling you or showing up in person the moment you miss a payment? That same technology exists for everyone and it is completely free. If your phone gets stolen, you can lock it instantly from another device and the thief will not be able to access a single thing on it.
Here is how to set it up and use it:
- For Android users:
Go to Settings, tap Google, select All Services, scroll down to Theft Protection, and turn on Remote Lock. Also turn on Offline Device Lock while you are there. Offline Device Lock automatically locks your screen if your phone loses internet connection for an extended period, which is exactly what happens when a thief removes your SIM.
How to lock it immediately if stolen:
Open any browser on another phone or laptop and go to android. com/lock. Type in your phone number and complete the quick verification. Your phone locks instantly. If the phone is offline when you send the command, it locks the moment it connects to any network, even for a split second.
You can also go to android. com/find, sign in with your Google account, and click Secure Device for a full remote lock with a custom message displayed on the screen.
- For iPhone users:
Set it up now before anything happens:
Make sure Find My iPhone is turned on. Go to Settings, tap your name at the top, select Find My, then Find My iPhone, and toggle it on. Also turn on Send Last Location so your phone sends its location to Apple even when the battery is about to die.
How to lock it immediately if stolen:
Go to icloud. com/find from any browser on another phone or laptop. Sign in with your Apple ID. Select your device and tap Mark as Lost. Your phone locks immediately with your existing passcode. A custom message and phone number will display on the screen. Apple Pay is also automatically disabled so the thief cannot make any payments with your phone.
What to do after locking:
Call your network provider immediately and ask them to block your SIM and your phone's IMEI number. Once your IMEI is blocked, the phone cannot connect to any Nigerian network even with a different SIM card inserted. It becomes a useless brick in the thief's hands.
The most important thing: set all of this up right now before anything happens. None of these features work if they were never activated. It takes less than two minutes. Do it today.
Above all, love God.

Earlier this year, I worked with a few international hiring panels. And I saw a lot of recruiters go out of their way to disqualify African talent.
If you’re prepping for an international remote job interview, here are the curveball questions you should be well prepared for:
Amazon is quietly hoping you never find the 5 hidden stores buried inside its own website.
I found them.
There's an Outlet with overstock deals up to 80% off. A Warehouse full of open-box products at 25-70% off.
A Renewed store selling certified refurbished electronics with a 90-day guarantee. A Coupons page with thousands of
clippable discounts. And a Haul section where everything is under $20.
None of them appear on the Amazon homepage. None of them show up in your regular search results. None of them are promoted in the app.
A friend of mine a former Amazon category manager who spent 6 years inside the inventory and pricing division told me something that changed how I shop forever.
"Amazon makes the most money when you search for a product, see the first listing, and buy it at full price. Every hidden section Outlet, Warehouse, Renewed, Coupons, Haul exists because Amazon needs to move inventory. But they don't surface these deals in your normal search because full-price sales have higher margins. The deals are real. Amazon just bets you'll never look for them."
He showed me all 5 sections, how to find them, and how to use each one.
I haven't paid full price for anything on Amazon since.
Here's everything he showed me 🧵

Once you learn how to shop directly from China, E.g Temù or shien your wardrobe changes completely. Call me cheap I don't care I ain't rich, I don't do fraud.😭
It's knowing what to search for.
Here's my style after making plenty of mistakes.
1. T-shirts:
Skip 100% polyester unless you're buying gym wear.
Instead, search:
• 100% Cotton
• Combed Cotton
• Heavyweight Cotton
• 240-300 GSM Cotton
• Premium Cotton
• Mercerized Cotton
The heavier the GSM, the thicker and more premium the shirt usually feels.
2. Jeans:
Denim Jeans
Temu is surprisingly good for denim if you know what to search.
Search:
• Denim Jeans
• Cotton Denim
• Raw Denim
• Selvedge Denim (if available)
• 98% Cotton + 2% Elastane
• 99% Cotton
Avoid jeans with high polyester content. The more cotton, the better they'll age and feel.
3. Body-hug clothing:
Search:
• Ribbed Knit
• Modal
• Viscose Blend
• Cotton-Spandex Blend
They hold their shape much better than cheap polyester.
4. Hoodies
Search:
• 400 GSM
• French Terry
• Cotton Fleece
• Heavyweight Hoodie
5. Chains
Search:
• 316L Stainless Steel
• Titanium Steel
• PVD Gold Plated
• Vacuum Plated
These are far more resistant to fading than ordinary fashion jewelry.
6. Earrings
Search:
• 925 Sterling Silver
• 316L Stainless Steel
• Hypoallergenic
• Moissanite (if you're buying stones)
7. Scarves
Search:
• Mulberry Silk
• Silk Blend
• Cashmere Blend
• Wool Blend
• Viscose
Avoid the shiny, thin polyester scarves if you're after a premium look.
8. Loafers
Search:
• Genuine Leather
• Cow Leather
• Full Grain Leather (rare but worth looking for)
• Rubber Outsole
9. Sneakers
Search:
• Rubber Outsole
• EVA Midsole
• Breathable Mesh
• Leather Upper
• Stitched Sole
Pictures lie a lot
The description usually tells the truth.
Here's how I shop:
1. Read the material composition before anything else.
2. Sort by Most Orders or Best Selling, not cheapest.
3. Only buy products with lots of reviews or pictures or even better when a Nigerian has purchased it before they always tell the truth.
4. Read the 1-star reviews first. They'll tell you what the seller won't.
5. Look at customer photos, not the product photos.
6. Check the weight of the product. Better quality clothing is often heavier.
7. Read the size chart. Don't assume your Nigerian size matches.
8. If the title has words like "luxury," "premium," or "designer" but the material is 100% polyester, not everything but still move on.
Your best friend isn't the product picture.
It's the material, the reviews, and the customer photos.
That's how you separate the gems from the junk.
I hope this help.
Things are to expensive for a country this poor.
