I once dated a girl who talked too much.

She played too much. She was too emotional.

I loved her while i did. I mean, She was a very beautiful lady.

She was intelligent and could make jokes out of anything or any situation. Dark humour and all.

Things were good until they weren't.

I flared up. I had had enough. I told her that i couldn't see the relationship working out in the long run.

She cried for days. She pleaded with me. Her friends got involved.

I just shrugged and believed that it'll pass.

A couple of weeks later, We spoke and she told me about her childhood and how traumatic it was. She was molested and abused by her relatives.

I had already moved on.

I told her so.
I suggested that we remain friends. She refused. She said that she wanted me. And that i made her feel good about herself, And i always listened to her. So, she couldn't just settle for “just friends”

I remember walking out. And that was the last time i saw her.

I found out that she commit suicide last year.

I called a call from her brother.
She mentioned me in her suicide note.

I feel so terrible rn.
Maybe, things would have been different if i had stayed.
