I remember walking up to this man at Eleyele. He was just wandering around, and I preached the Gospel to him. He gave his life to Christ and was filled.

I later found out that he was a shoemaker, so I followed him to his workshop that day and saw the pathetic condition he was working in.

I asked if he would like to work with us. Truthfully, I didn’t need any more staff at the time, but I had to do it because I don’t just preach the Gospel of salvation—I also believe in showing people practical ways to build wealth and improve their lives.

When he received his first week’s pay during his training today, he couldn’t believe it.

They moved hundreds of millions from poverty to global power by taking education, science, engineering, manufacturing and national planning seriously.

None of this happened by accident.

Nations that invest in human capital eventually export influence.

That is the path we must take.

We are not grooming children just to survive Nigeria.

We are grooming a generation that will compete with the best minds on earth.

Our education must move from survival to global domination.

Today is D-day.

Our boys are now at the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma for the Grand Finale of the International STEM Olympiad in Rome, Italy.

I’m optimistic about their victory.

How can you, as an educated individual, assert that an akara seller earns more than someone employed in a bank? And then go on to claim that 250k in revenue is superior to a 150k salary, even without considering their operating expenses?
